Spacious, clean property with lovely furnishings etc. great it had a washing machine and we could hang clothes out in the garden. Restaurant in the village was great, ate there both nights, it is very busy so do book. Don’t miss Le Plan Incline, a boat lift, very interesting. Enough to do for two nights.
We were met by Jean Michel, the owner, who gave us a full tour of the house. He and his wife even left us a bottle of wine and little cakes which was lovely. The views from the accommodation are beautiful and everything is very modern. Great facilities and very kind owners.
The house is not in Dabo village so it’s important to know there is a 10 min drive to the local shop/boulangerie etc. This is an excellent place if you want to go hiking or if you want peace and quiet.
The chalet has an amazing location and a stunning view. We spent the New Year eve there and we had a wonderful time also enjoying the fireplace, and the place itself was very well heated. The living room is very pleasant and spacious, the kitchen is well equipped, so there is everything you need. Nearby is the forest to have a walk, and the city of Dabo is only 8 minutes away by car. We had an amazing time!
