The hot tub and tiny house are wonderful. Isolated, and private and the host was so welcoming and warm. Breakfast was great .. even included truffle butter. Perfect for the airport as well.

the farm has a picturesque location. It has a swimming pool on site which the kids enjoyed a lot. It has a truffle restaurant on site! But we didn’t reserve the table beforehand and couldn’t have dinner there as it’s very popular. so make sure to book a table before you come.

We were the only guests, but the staff provided a bar service & home cooked meal. Doubtless will be busy when summer holidays properly underway. After the meal we spent a pleasant evening chatting to the staff.
We found the site via sat nav, which took us via the shortest, but very narrow route. The manager's wife led us into Turenne by a wider, safer route which I was happy to use.

The hotel was in a quiet location but within a few minutes walk of the centre of town . Our room had a pleasant balcony overlooking the pool. The breakfast was plentiful and the coffee machine dispensed excellent cafe au lait. The doors onto the balcony were easy to operate. The bathroom, although small, was all we required and it was clean with plenty of towels. The shower was hot and water pressure good. It was useful having some parking spaces allocated to the hotel opposite.
Great trip to the Dordognes. A few things we managed in 5 days
- Pre-historic caves with original cave paintings (Rouffinac, Lacave) - unmissable!
- Canoeing with family of 4
- Le Gouffre de Padirac -
- Rocamadour - has World Heritage Status
- Relaxed strolls through Martel and other picturesque villages
Car essential. We found this useful to plan our drives https://www.visit-dordogne-valley.co.uk/traveller-information/best-driving-routes
