I got moved over to their sister hotel which was nicer as this one was shut down due to not being very busy yet for the summer, the room at the other spot was amazing very clean the Wi-Fi was fast and spotless bathroom. It's also literally next to the train station which is why I stayed there.

Ermitage is a lovely hotel. The staff are warm and welcoming. The location is perfect and very close to Mont Saint Michel. The rooms are very large and the bathroom is very large and nice. The bed was perfect and I slept like I was at home. The dinner was incredible. The food was delicious and the attention to detail was unmatched. The breakfast was also perfect with amazing pastries, eggs, bread, fruit, charcuterie, cheese and yogurt. I am so impressed with the team and the hotel and can't wait ti return!

The hotel is located about a mile from Mt St Michel. There are about 4 restaurants in the area, two of which we never found open and two that had no available tables. Breakfast could have been better, not alot of choices. There is no elevator in this hotel and no help was offered in helping us with our luggage. After coming in from a cold and windy trek around the area trying unsuccessfully to find a meal, we asked if we could get a hot drink from the machine that was set up for breakfast. The answer was a definitive no, was against hotel policy. We could either walk back outside in the cold down the road to a bar that could serve us, or go across the street to a store which was already closed for the day (not sure why they did not know the store closed at 5) and get some soup which they would allow us to use the hotel microwave. There are no microwaves or refrigerators in the rooms. I've been sick for the last two weeks, I believe as a direct result of being unable to find a meal. This hotel needs to take better care of their customers.
