The location is quite remote but this is actually a bonus. Very quiet and tranquil, surrounded by gardens and countryside with horses. Finding the house could be a challenge, although once in Bazincourt village, keep an eye out for a sign. This was our last night in France after touring for a couple of weeks, and we wanted somewhere comfortable, quiet and with a restaurant on site, so we could just relax. The Chateau ticked all the boxes. It was built as a family home, and still retains that feeling. Our very spacious, clean and comfortable room, with a lounge area, looked out over fields with horses. The decor was soft and muted, and relaxing. The bed was probably the most comfortable bed we slept in whilst away, and we had a good night's sleep. The bathroom was large and appeared to have recently been refurbished. As it was a Monday night, the restaurant was closed except to hotel guests, so the menu would not be the full menu. We thought this might pose an issue for us due to some medical dietary restrictions, however, we corresponded with the hotel, and they could not have been more accommodating and helpful. As it turned out, the menu worked for us, and we had an excellent and delicious meal. This is a family run hotel, and staff seem to double up on duties. They could not be nicer, more helpful or cheerful. Antoine was on reception when we checked in and was fully aware of any issues we might have in the restaurant, which also meant we probably would not take breakfast the next day. Together with a lovely cheerful young lady who always seemed to be smiling, they were the only staff we saw, even in the restaurant, but this actually gave the stay a more intimate feel. When we left the next day, they ensured that we had hot drinks available in the lounge, as we had not had breakfast. We are sure to stay again in the future

Kevin who was our host could not have been more pleasant or helpful.
He arranged a dinner reservation at a restaurant nearby.
He supplied bottles of cold beer for us to enjoy in the last of the afternoon sunshine.
Breakfast was plentiful, varied and delicious. Lots of homemade items too eg jams, yoghurt.
