Our 3 year old son loved staying in a chateau, it really sparked his imagination and he was very excited to be there. It was an authentic and unique experience, felt a bit like stepping back in time which was fine for 2 nights. The room was huge, plenty of space. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. The location is brilliant, we visited chateau chambord and the nearby zoo. It is incredibly peaceful and quiet, no outside noise. The breakfast consists of tea, coffee, juice, bread, eggs on request, jam and local cheeses as well as yoghurt.

It felt like home from home, a beautiful place to stay, a truly relaxing experience. The gardens were lovely, the pool delightful and we fell in love with the donkeys. Our hosts were great, really friendly and made us feel welcome. Breakfast was great, overlooking the gardens, served by our hosts. We enjoyed pizza in the village for dinner. We enjoyed visiting the stunning Châteaux before we left. A fabulous place to stay.
