We made a day trip to Nantes by train which was very easy to undertake. The hotel is only a ten minute walk from the station.

Stephanie was very welcoming and cooked us two wonderful evening meals. We felt at home there, she did everything she could to make us feel welcome. There is safe storage for our bikes and easy parking. The location is great, near cycle routes and the Loire and Canal, and within easy reach of Nantes. We'd love to go back!

In an interesting part of France, near a tributary of the Loire, it is adjacent to marshy farmland. There is a friendly restaurant next to the small harbour and some cafés in the village as well as a bakery, supermarket and swimming pool. It has good cycle paths to explore but a car is essential for getting to the property.
