I recommend Gite Mido most highly, it’s faultless! We were welcomed warmly, to a charming traditional house with spotless modern amenities. The breakfast is superb and I m sure much of it is homemade. This place is a treasure.

We had a lovely stay in Anne-flore’s beautiful home for two nights. It was well worth the cycle ride up from the Loire valley. The pool, bbq and food that Anne-flore prepared was lovely and the whole family made us very welcome. We will definitely be coming back.

Cordemais is a small town near Nantes with some facilities and would suit those who enjoy a rural experience. In an interesting part of France, near a tributary of the Loire, it is adjacent to marshy farmland. There is a friendly restaurant next to the small harbour and some cafés in the village as well as a bakery, supermarket and swimming pool. It has good cycle paths to explore but a car is essential for getting to the property.
