The location is excellent for Cite Europe and for the Channel tunnel. Security is good because the site is used by the national police. Room was fine…no real issues..Only down side was the quality of the breakfast…perhaps just not to my liking?

Room was comfy and cool. Gardens great and proximity to the Loire so could dog walk.
Breakfast less than average. Got there at 8.30 (available until 9.30) but no bread available,no croissants. Egg and bacon arrived after I had left!

Mutty (my dog) and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Coquelles to...
Mutty (my dog) and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Coquelles to break up our journey from Cardiff to Paris. The hotel is conveniently located near the Eurotunnel and has veterinary practices nearby for our return trip. Due to the excess tapeworm treatment required post-Brexit. But back to the Holiday Inn—the hotel had everything we needed, including a great selection of beverages and delicious food. The outdoor area for Mutty to stretch his legs was a lifesaver. Lastly, a huge thank you to the kind gentleman (sorry, I didn't catch his name) who photocopied 13 pages of Mutty’s animal health certificate for free. We are very grateful to you and the entire team.

Very handy location as wanted somewhere to stay after...
Very handy location as wanted somewhere to stay after crossing through the euro tunnel very late at night. Fitted the bill perfectly as a place to stopover before heading further into Europe after a good sleep. Very comfy bed. Bathroom a bit basic and plastic but overall a very good hotel for the price.

Calais Centre is brilliant with plenty to do, great beaches and Friteries (Chips, enough to feed a Country)
I recommend La Coupole at St Omer,,Blockhaus d'Eperlecques also near St Omer, Batterie Todt (Closed until March) near Wizernes between Sangatte and Boulogne sur Mer.

Coquelles is a small group of housing and industrial units...
Coquelles is a small group of housing and industrial units between Calais proper and Sangatte. It is not a place to visit for tourists, you need a car, although Calais and Sangatte are a only stiff walk away.
We arrived in the day they opened for the first time the new restaurant and kitchen, in the glass walls surounded facilty, viewing the Eurotunnel terminal. Outside was windy, inside was cozy and confy. Wonderful feeling during dinner time. Small but good menu options (a simple salad would have been a plus, as an add to the menu). Rooms clean, confy beds, quiet during night time, good quality of rest. We have returned here the 4th time. It is our favourite hotel during our cross from France to UK.
The hotel was in an excellent location, close to the Calais Eurotunnel port. Despite how close it is to the tunnel, it is on the edge of a nice town (Coquelles) with fields around it.
The room was a good size and the shower was excellent.
We ate dinner in the hotel which we enjoyed, and breakfast was great too.
It is based within walking distance of all the city Europe facilities. It is also in a good location for visiting the area of Calais. It is a no frills hotel I.e. a good nights sleep.a place to eat and drink and a basic room. All at a good price. Staff all very helpful( English speakers).
