Easy to find with a helpful receptionist, good sized, well-appointed clean rooms with a good shower and decent soundproofing. Breakfast was extra cost and self-service. There was plenty of choice in terms of dairy and wheat and the coffee was welcome.

Fabulous hotel used as a stopover en-route to Disney Land Paris. 10 minutes from motorway with secure gated parking.
Room was 1st class. Plenty of choice for breakfast.
2 or 3 days would work well
Plenty to see around the Chateau and its grounds.
Hard to get to the Armistice clearing to see the train carriage without your own car, there's no real public transport to it. But exploring the area around there could make an interesting day There's a memorial to Buchenwald that I did not get to.
The pedestrianised old town is pleasant to walk around with a great Town Hall.

It is a small nice town. You can reach all sightseeing locations by walking. It is also quite close to Paris in case you want to do a day trip to Paris. We drove back and forth, it takes around 70 minutes or so. Also you can take train. It is quite convenient.

Really lovely old town with buildings from different centuries - plus a royal palace. A vast forest is adjacent to the town with lovely villages. Lots to explore. We only stayed 1 night and had wonderful moules frites and fish & chips at Leon de Bruxelles. Very fresh food & very clean with excellent service.
A wonderful apartment, perfectly equipped with everything you may need even for a prolonged stay, with two very comfortable bedrooms, a large living room with a dining table, and a terrace. It is right in the centre of Compiègne, with a huge supermarket just downstairs. The owner was very friendly and easy to communicate with. As a side note, it is on the first floor with no elevator.
We stayed here underway to Paris. A great hotel to have a night of sleep before proceeding. We arrived around 2AM, where we were welcomed very kindly by the receptionist. The rooms looked like they were recently renovated, very stylish and clean and including a very comfortable bad. The breakfast is not very extensive, but the food itself is more than fine.
Location was suited to my purpose in a quiet residential area of Compiègne, a small town with short distances.
The host warns about reduced manoeuvering space to reach the parking space, but this is overstated: some confidence, rather than skill, is just required upon exiting down the ramp.
Note - Breakfast: not applicable.
Really nice apartment with a big kitchen. Everything was clean and the owners were really dedicated to help me and answer all my questions. Also the price was more than fair for what I got. In case I come back for another working trip to Compiègne, I'd definitely stay there again.
The hotel is beautifully situated with a view of the city center and the bridge over the river. It is still a traditional and affordable French hotel in the good sense. Not a bad pseudo-modernity. Spacious room, good bed, large writing table.
Hotel was in a great location just a short walk away from Gare du Compiegne train station and close to the centre. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good reliable process to leave baggage as well. Room was fairly clean.
This is very close to what I’m looking for in a hotel. Very friendly staff, nice updated room and a great overall atmosphere. The beds and pillows are really comfortable. Lots of bang for your buck
Lovely property with comfortable en-suite rooms in a quiet suburb of Compiègne (which we visited for the first time on our way back to Calais). Owners delightful and very helpful. Good breakfast.
Service & check in is smooth and efficient. Hotel is immaculately clean.
Bed linen is white and crisp.
The hotel seemed pretty full, but it was so peaceful in the rooms.
Pleasant hotel and restaurant, very good secure parking facility, comfortable beds and with room at the back, very quiet in spite of the hotel being on a passing road.
