It's a very beautiful place up the hill in Sarlat-la-Caneda. The owners are very sweet. We were afraid to be too late to check-in and got in contact with them. It wasn't a problem at all, they even offered to pick us up in town. The hotel is a fully developed kind of timbered house. The beds were a dream - so soft. The garden is very pretty. They even have amazing other guests aswell. We thought walking up the hill with our bags would be a good idea... well it is kinda steep, so it was a challenge^^. But a lovely couple from the Netherlands drove by and took our bags with them up the hill to the hotel. The croissants for breakfast were very tasty.

We had travelled from the south that day and just needed somewhere quiet to relax. I booked the hotel as it had a nice garden. Unfortunately we arrived in cold and rain so couldn’t take advantage of the facilities. It’s well situated though and easy to get to from Sarlat. The public rooms are comfy the dining room looks good.

It's slightly to one end of the main street and, amazingly, has free on-street parking and an easy 5 minute walk to the centre of town.
We had Room 19 with the large balcony with an outdoor table and chairs; the beds were super-comfy, there was also an easy chair and footstool so I felt we got quite a few 'extras', and I'd give the lovely pool area a 4* rating!
Both of the reception staff were incredibly helpful. I was able to borrow an iron and board.
