Steve and Karen met us upon arrival, handed us the keys and showed us around. The accommodation was superbly appointed, great facilities including very good wifi. We were only there one night but would happily return.

This is a charming chambre d'hote in a quiet little village just outside Limoges and was an excellent place for a stopover on my journey north. The welcome from the hosts could not have been warmer or friendlier. My host showed me round the room, how the various things like shutters worked and even recommended a local restaurant for dinner. The following morning, she brought a magnificent breakfast to my room, consisting of coffee, croissants, bread and toast, yoghurt, orange juice and preserves! Absolutely brilliant!

Location and history of the building. Authentic French period decor. The owners were very friendly and the breakfast was generous and imaginative. The picnic we ordered for our onward journey was perfect.
Really nice place. We stayed in the smaller cabin which was perfect for one night. It was slightly small for two people and two medium sized dogs but the great layout made it possible. I would upgrade to the larger ones facing the pool next time.
The village itself is very pleasant. It took us half a day to visit the martyr village (no dogs allowed so we had to take turns to visit). There is a hiking trail just around the corner and the lunch at Le Milord was delicious. We could stay longer to enjoy the nature and peacefulness more.
