Beautiful building and friendly welcome. Secure bike storage. Delicious table d’hote and super breakfast. Loved sharing dinner with the owners who were very welcoming. Despite language barriers, we spent a very pleasant evening together. Very friendly dog and cat also.

The refuge de athena is a lovely place to stay, very comfortable and relaxed, with kitchen, playstation, netflix etc. Eric was a fantastic host and he and his partner made the group feel very welcome. He was incredibly informative and helped us find a local bike repair shop and also ordered us pizzas (our collective French being pretty weak). Would definitely stay again!

Extremely welcoming host, secure place to put my bike. Comfortable bed and great shower, much needed after long bike ride. Opted to have evening meal, which was first class, well worth it, and gave the opportunity to meet other travellers and compare notes about bike trip.
Gaelle, the host was very friendly and helpful. I opted for the in-house evening meal both nights of my stay, which were both delicious and good value. The same with breakfast, wonderful food. The room was large and very comfortable with excellent bathroom facilities. Private secure parking was a bonus.

We were cycling on the Avenue Verte - Paris to Dieppe and the owner, Gaelle was very knowledgeable about the route.
The stay was perfect - fabulous food and drink, all organic and very filling.
Our room was HUGE and very well renovated and decorated to a very high standard.

Small and charming village set in the very attractive...
Small and charming village set in the very attractive limestone hills along the Seine. Easy access to Roche Guyon, Giverny, and Villarceau, all very attractive places to visit. Be aware however that we had considerable difficulty finding anywhere to eat in the area which was open in the middle price range.
