The hotel is located a short walk from the old city walls. There is parking on site, which was very convenient. We parked outside for free, but they also have secure, covered parking under the building. There is an elevator, making it handy to manage baggage. Lots of things to do in Aix, a university town with a vibrant atmosphere.Unfortunately the Cezanne Atelier was closed during our visit. We did visit the Caumont Museum which was excellent, the Tapestry Museum and the Vasarely Foundation, which was stunning.
The breakfast buffet was ample and varied Plenty of coffee options. Seating inside or outdoors on nice days.

Great environment however the breakfast selection is rather limited.
The environment was quite nice. The hotel is integrated in an old provençale country house. You will find an architectural reasonable compromise between a modern hotel offering a country house feeling. The pool area is on a greenfield. Sun lounger are for free use and can be located under simple wooden sun covers if required. It seems that the hotel does not have much international guests as the preferred language is french. The hotel staff was keen to help out as best as they can to get all queries addressed.
Great pool. Very good food. I love the shutters on the windows that make the room black and give you a great night sleep. Good overnight hotel in delightful surroundings. I will definitely be back.
The hotel has undergone an excellent renovation since our last visit both in the rooms and in the lounge and dining areas. It’s more comfortable than ever.
Once we found the hotel … difficult to find .. there is a road closed and it took ages to make a detour… it was a great hotel. Very relaxing atmosphere.
