Everything fine. The host was super-nice! He waited for my arrival at midnight and was up again at 6 a.m. to offer me coffee before I left. Great bathroom with hot showers. Beds are bit old but ok :-).

We were amazed by the originality, uniqueness and beauty of Château de Longeville. It was complimented by the warmth and charm of the hosts, Eve and her husband. The room was beautiful, almost frozen in time, but with the comfort of a beautiful ensuite bathroom. Dinner and breakfast are served around a communal table, in a lovely dining room and along with the other guests, we felt we were more at a family gathering than with strangers, in a corporate hotel, dining room. Booking.com seems to, happily, produce these remote gems, luckily for us, and hopefully they'll stay on the books for more discerning people to experience.

Just a short distance from the Tronçais forest and ideal for nature-lovers, Château d'Ygrande - Teritoria is a 19th-century château with elegant interiors and antique furniture.

All of the staff have big, genuine smiles. Everyone friendly and helpful. The location is stunning. Horses everywhere. Nice dogs in and around the property. We love dogs. Flowers, Chickens and ponds full of frogs. All very charming. The Chateau is beautiful. Comfortable beds, with nice clean white sheets. Gorgeous Views of the surrounding countryside. This place is a real find.

Dinner was terrific! Marion is really a fantastic Chef. The real pure french food, so tastefull. We are not big eaters, but couldn’t resist eating it all. Gilles is a fantastic host! Thank you for making our days!
