The staff are absolutely brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble. Service excellent. The location is great, being a short walk from the centre. Lots of good restaurants on the same avenue. 5mins walk from the railway station. Highly recommended.

Great upmarket small town on the very edge of Rennes. Suggest visitors drive from junction 4 to 5 and use the park and ride next to the metro terminus. Free parking as long as you have used a one euro 70 cents ticket within an hour of exiting the parking lot.
Parking in Rennes is expensive
Convenient location for an overnight stay on our journey to Roscoff. It was as expected for a budget hotel. The room was small, but had all we needed for our stay.
The breakfast was plentiful and there was plenty of choices.
Chantepie town centre was close by and it was easy to find a nice restaurant.
Nice bedding with extra pillows+ blanket if needed. Clean and light room. No problem leaving our car at the end of our stay for a few hours ( I expect it was a quiet time of the year). With our bicycles, we could cycle into Rennes in 20 minutes saving the hassle of parking.
This hotel was clean and is acceptable for a very short stay if you are just passing by (a bit like a motel). It is not in Rennes, but actually in Chantepie, to the south, and the area/surroundings are calm but not that interesting.

The staff was extremely kind. We had some trouble with the car so we were worried about the check in, but they were very accommodating. The location is also great for any one visiting Rennes.
We had rooms on the ground floor, which was convenient. The rooms had access codes, which made it easier. The prices were good (it was Ibis Budget, after all).
