We had a lovely welcome, but as we were in the area for a wedding we didn’t spend much time in the room which was quite nice … There is a beautiful garden which we didn’t have time to enjoy.

First impression on arrival was very positive. The building is truly stunning, as is the garden. Second impression: delightful reception welcome, and really interesting and historic games room and lounge. All the public areas were stunning. And then we got to the bedroom ... It was fine, but wow it was a step down from the rest of the hotel (it really did feel like a different hotel). Suddenly upstairs it felt like an old-fashioned 1980s pub. The contrast was jarring.

The space available is nicely appointed-excellent to have a fridge -also coffee machine and the parking and patio right outside the door! It’s not a tourist spot but an excellent stopover for us en route to St Malo port. Exceptional quality apartment with a lovely helpful host and at a very low price!

We loved staying at La Clé du Puy. The room was very stylish, clean & comfortable. Parking was in the grounds of the house and we were able to store our bike & bike rack safely. Finally, our hosts was very kind & friendly and served a delicious breakfast. Highly recommended!
