The staff were excellent. They notified us of a valuable item we left behind by accident, and posted it for us as we'd already hit the halfway mark back to Calais. All arrived, well protected and fast. Many thanks :)
We arrived at breakfast towards the end of the slot and sometimes the hot options were running low. They were topped up though, just not immediately. We just waited with a coffee so no real problem. I would have preferred hot pancakes, but the kids enjoyed them!
The rooms were roomy and showers nice. We had to have 2 rooms for 2 adults and 3 kids so a family room would be a fab addition but it was excellent value irrespectively.
The pool was great with plenty of chairs around it and was open until 9pm so weary travellers can refresh and kids let off steam before bed, after being in the car all day. Lots for kids actually with a play park, gardens and a play area in reception to keep them entertained while you check in. All in all a thoughtfully put together rest stop which we'll definitely use again.
