The welcome bottle of wine, pate and biscuits was an unexpected addition. The room was lovely and clean and the attention to detail was appreciated. With such superb produce available locally, we ate in every night and everything we needed was there. The terrace with the little table and chairs and the sound of running water close by made it feel really relaxing and the saltwater pool was a delight in such hot weather. The surroundings were peaceful and tranquil and we felt so relaxed there.
Overall, our stay was the best we could have hoped for and we would like to thank Thierry and Sophie for such a lovely stay.
We would definitely return.

Pleasant enough small town but don't expect to find much in the way of entertainment and don't expect restaurants to be open on a Sunday and many stay closed until Tuesday. We liked The Terrace and Louis XIII but spent a long time wandering around to find these places. However, well placed to travel to the coast for trips.

Lovely romantic setting for any couple, owners friendly and welcoming. Breakfast excellent. Pool was a bonus, as were the white storks nesting on two of the chateau chimneys! Close to Challans with a good range of shops and restaurants.
We adored the lodging. Everything about the complex was gorgeous and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Our room was marvelous, the breakfast was delicious, and a wonderful restaurant was suggested in Challans that we tried.
Very friendly and polite staff. Swimming pool and tennis court were clean and atmosphere overall excellent. The warm croissants in breakfast were extremely delicious. Would definitely recommend this hotel for everyone.
