Lovely hotel. Very picturesque. Our Host is an amazing person. Thank you!
Was disappointed when I found out that there were no tapas but was recommended to go to a local Restaurant.
I can only say it was out of this world. The food was amazing. Expect to pay a little more but well worth it.

Highly recommend La Praline for exceptional service and fantastic, delicious, value for money breakfast.
Only 30 mins from Argeles-sur-Mer for a day on the beach.
The Saturday morning Market was probably the best I have ever visited in Europe (so far!).

Céret is a lovely small town with a surprisingly wonderful Museum of modern art. Both Picasso and Braque lived and worked in Céret amd Picasso donated a wonderful series of ceramics to the museum. Hence this museum is a big drawing card for tourists. The town itself has a lovely vibe with some of the old fortress walls remaining and lovely winding cobblestone streets. At night you feel that you are on a movie set . And of course you have the scenic backdrop of the Pyrenees.

Particularly attractive village with many facilities well presented and welcoming. A first class upgraded art gallery. Many restaurants and delightful cafes. A warm and comfortable melding of the old and the new. The artistic history provides a strong incentive to know more of the place this village had in the development of recent French art which has been influential across the world. Ceret has close access to the very attractive villages at foothills of the Pyrenees a number of which have spa facilities.

A quiet town, lovely setting and a marvelous Museum of Modern Art well worth a visit. Not many tourists for early June which we liked. Several restaurants of note and the dinner at el Catala was exceptional. Wander the town to discover art galleries showing local talent.

Céret is a beautiful old town-this is the second time we've been. It has a delightful ambience, and has lots of charming cafes to sit at and watch the world go past under the shade of its avenue of very tall Plane trees. Unfortunately I still haven't managed to go when the Museum of Modern art has been open- one day hopefully! The lovely old bridge at the entrance to the town has a wonderful view, and it's normally buzzing with cultural events, but not unfortunately while there's a pandemic going on!
We had a great meal in the evening at the Quattrocento,( by the Fontaine des Neuf Jets) -delicious, friendly waitress and a very reasonable price.
A little gem, a really special apartment in the centre of Céret. Very equipped with all the basics and much more you need. Espacially all the kitchen stuff is just perfect. In the apartment there are a lot of arty things to discover . It was clean and comfortable. Céret is a beautifull charactaristic town , really lovely. Definitately recommanded !
Set within the circle of the town this charming hotel had a real old school feel. Proprietors. and their staff, were always naturally attentive. Very comfortable bed in shuttered room which matched perfectly the ambience of a very assured and relaxed town. Breakfast terrace a joy.
Poppys is a hotel with lots of character conveniently situated in the centre of town. The hosts are friendly, informative and on hand when you need them. The accommodation was all that one could wish for and represented good value for money.
The place is just ideal, located in the historic center of Ceret just a few meters from its famous fine art museum and all the restaurants and cafes of the town. The breakfast is great and the owners Paul and Catherine are the perfect hosts.
The couple who run the hotel were delightful. The setting is beautiful, and the facilities, like garden, pool etc were lovely. Breakfast had a great selection of local, fresh produce. Will definitely be back with bicycles next time. :-)
So nice and little hotel to stay at in the centre of Ceret. Family owned hotel with so nice an friendly owners. The breakfast was really great where you can order what you want the night before from a long list of things.
Comfortable, clean appartment a few minutes walk from the centre of Ceret and walking distance from the bus stop for services from Perpignan .
Quiet, no disturbance from traffic noise or from within the building.
Right in the heart of Céret but with a beautiful garden full of birdsong. A comfy bed and a well equipped kitchen meant we had a great four nights here. On Saturday we had the market right outside our door too.
Great town centre location in Céret with the ability to open the shutters in the morning and look down onto the town. Great shower and comfy bed, plus powerful air conditioning. Kitchen was good too.
A beautiful little apartment. The best location in the heart of CÈRET, but at the same time very quiet. Only a short walk to all attractions, coffee shops or restaurants. Great value for money!!
Fantastic hosts. Very friendly, kind, knowledgeable about the area and the breakfast was first rate. I would recommend anyone traveling to Ceret stay here. The location could not be better.
Location was fantastic. Bed comfortable, lots of hot water in shower. Peaceful garden area and house had a lovely atmosphere. Great art books on Ceret painters were a bonus!
The hotel was very quiet and quaint. The husband and wife were especially nice and despite not speaking English well, they were very accommodating. We would stay here again.
Lovely practical apartment in the centre of the old town - and a couple of minutes walk from the start of great paths up into the hills. Ceret is a delightful town.
