The location is great overlooking the countryside and lake the parking is right opposite the hotel in a public car park park just across the road from the entrance
The lady working there was really friendly and helpful and put some of my groceries I purchased in their fridge overnight
The evening meal and breakfast although not spectacular were good value if you are looking for real french village hotel experience this is good with locals in the hotel bar in the evening giving it a real local feel

The room was a good size and well heated. Very good, clean bathroom. The owners were very happy to have our dog and cat. Useful to have a kettle - but very limited supplies so best to take your own.

A pretty medieval village on top of a hill with a beautiful church and lovely market square with covered arcades and two good bistro-style restaurant/bars; Le 17 and Le Bardouquet. Quiet and largely unvisited by tourists. The surrounding countryside is a highly attractive gently rolling patchwork of fields and woodland - not dramatic, but with a pretty view round every turn.
