Hosts were excellent. The view from the balcony was wonderful. The apartment had everything and was really well thought out. Parking was easy.

The property had a lovely room, and I loved the terrace at the top, it was a beautiful room, in a perfect location.

I like how close it is to the beach, it makes it easy to enjoy the sea and then go back to the room to shower ect..
The view out of the room I had was not a sea view but a nice view of the Riviera hills.

Excellent customer service from the girls on reception who were really welcoming. The bed was so comfortable. The jazz playing in reception and the fragrant diffusers in the hall all added to the ambience. Top marks.

The room was very clean, great size and bathroom and separate toilet great sizes too. It was very modern and more than met our needs. Beds firm and air con quiet. We opted not to pay extra for sea view, bonus to this was the sun was on our balcony early evening whilst sea view rooms were in shade, down side you were looking directly into balconies of residential apartments opposite. There is a bakery and local bar/shop below the hotel and a supermarket 1 minute walk. Drinks in the hotel more expensive than the local bar so we went there.. would have love to have used the hotel seating but at 4 euros an aperol (for comparison) we went to local bar. Train station 10 minute walk so very convenient (make sure to go to Carnoles station for this hotel and not Roqubrane-cap-Martin which is the other end of the town). Deck chairs to borrow to sit on beach. There is a sister hotel in Menton, the Napoleon who were super welcoming when we visited and said we were at the Victoria.
The apartment is fully equipped, very clean and very well located. The sight from the terrace is breathtaking. The atmosphere at Castellar, quiet. We had our own carpark. There is a good restaurant very close to the apartment (Lascaris) and a small shop (Grocery) where you can buy local products.
The hosts were amazing.

The house is very-very well equipped. Bernard was a great and helpful host. We had really everything (and even more) what is needed for a holiday. We enjoyed the peace, the fresh air and having breakfast and dinner on the terrace with the fantastic panorama. Castellar is also a lovely little village. I hope to come back next year!
Everything was perfect. Exceptional facilities like a 4*star hotel. Amazing view. Ideal for relaxation and calmness. 5 min. drive to Menton. 5 min. walk to Castellar village. The hostess Denise was amazing and sweet. Totally recommend!!
