Boat trips very reasonable and very safe. Would not go out if too rough. Beautiful turquoise sea, could see fish. Magnificent colours of the calanques and sea. Amazing!
Beach is small and quaint next to port. Great new bar/restaurant just been put up on beach and lovely staff in there.
Tourist train ride to top of cliff and view of the calanques is well worth it also. Lovely guide.

It is out of this world! Cobbled streets, cute shops, the best fresh fish restaurants all with stunning views. So clean. Beautiful beach and harbour. I am definitely going back and would recommend Cassis and the hotel to everyone!

A lovely resort accommodation has to be in the port area, suites 23 is a steep twenty minute walk from the port. Also communication at that property with the host is primarily through Google translator app as her English is limited.
The property is suitable only for guests who speak fluent French and willing to walk a very steep climb back

Wonderful town with plenty of bars and restaurants and lovely harbour. Nearby Calanques were beautiful.
If I was being really picky a large sandy beach would have been good but we knew that beaches in area were pebbles. You cant have everything.

Small, many restaurants, some good walking but essentially just a great place to hang out and chill. Choose the restaurants in the back alleys, much better. Accommodation looking at the sea is best but book early.
We had a great week staying at Les Barques. The apartment is very comfortable, well equipped, is in a great location alongside the port in Cassis and has an amazing sea view / view of Cap Canaille you can enjoy from the living room and terrace. The team provided lots of useful information in advance and made it easy to pick up the keys. Great position for port, restaurants, treks in the Calanques, local beaches. We would definitely choose the apartment again when staying in Cassis.
We chose Aquarius in Cassis as it was in the edge of the town and had parking. It was perfect for our 2 night stay to explore the stunning Calanques. The hosts are super friendly, and join for breakfast to chat and answer any questions you may have and give tips on restaurants, hiking routes etc. The room was really comfortable, and exactly as per the photos. We would highly recommend.
The staff was amazing - very friendly and lovely! We were travelling with our baby and we got even a bathtub for him! Our appartment was very pretty and clean. We had a great view to Cassis (btw: 5 mins walk from the hotel and you are in the centre). The pool is heated and had a temperature of 25°C and there was also a jacuzzi and a sauna - easy to use and at no additional cost.
We loved the decor of the hotel. Would have preferred two twin beds and no extra bed to allow more space in room. Very lovely balcony and general seating areas outdoors and inside. Enjoyed breakfast at hotel and restaurant Pastis adjoining hotel. Most of all appreciated the kindness of Stephanie and Cesar in giving us rides to and from the city center, and courtesy of staff.
What a lovely little apartment! It was really in the middle of the city, with easy access to the beach, les calanques, a lot of nice restaurants and shops. Great to have a kitchen in the room, as restaurants in the area are expensive. Great clear communication from the hosts about check in and apartment rules. Overall, I recommend renting this room if you visit cassis!
Huge apartment, rather luxurious interior. Extremely clean (especially for southern France standards that I experienced). Fully und well equipped kitchen. Very close to beaches (!), old town and for starting hikes in the mountains. Lovely host, uncomplicated check-in (inform host 10 min before arrival) and check-out. Beautiful bathroom (loved the rain shower).
Alain and Jenny went out of their way to make our stay the best. Breakfast requests, alone time at the secluded pool, the wonderful gardens! Such a hideaway. Being away from town and restaurants, they brought us pizza by the pool, and even escorted us to town to help us find parking in crowded Cassis. The room was large and sparkling clean too.
Up from the first moment when we arrived at the hotel, we could see that the owners are taking a lot of care in architecture and decoration. We also liked the location basically inside Calanque Park and away from crowdy Cassis. We also started our walking journey to Calanque d'En Vau from there which was such a good experience.

We had a great stay at Le Bel Ecrin par Dodo-a-Cassis. The apartment was very tidy and clean. The view was so beautiful! The service was also very good. The hotel is located closely to all the amenities. The beautiful calanques of Cassis are within a walking distance. There are plenty of cafes an restaurants around, as well as shops selling delicious artisanal ice cream. The cherry on the top was a free upgrade of the room to a higher category!
Great location! Just blocks from the center of Cassis which is filled with restaurants, cafes and shops. It was an easy walk to the Calanques (easy is relative, depending on how much you like to hike). Great view out of the back window, too. Lots of space and room to spread out.
The location was absolutely perfect -- right in the heart of Cassis. The apartment was beautiful, the bed was comfortable, and the balconies provided beautiful views and a comfortable hangout. It was a great space, great location, and super responsive hosts.
It’s a charming hotel in an attractive part of Cassis. The breakfast of freshly baked bread and pastries were outstanding. The owner spoke excellent English (far better than my French) and and had a witty sense of humour. The strength of the WiFi was good.
Cute studio within walking distance of downtown Cassis. King size bed and fantastic shower. Listen to les cigales from the balcony, and the kitchenette was a bonus. Gentleman at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. Parking as well!!
