Hotel de Berne is really well located. It is right opposite the intercity train station and not too far from the old town, museums etc. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel manager (does he ever go home?) was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was simple but all we needed - we enjoyed taking it out on to our little balcony.

Location was ideal directly opposite tram line and only 15mins into the old town walking. 20mins or so to the beach. Nearby train station which was less than 10mins walk also. Staff were all incredibly friendly and the rooftop bar and food was also to a high standard.

Very convenient option to explore Nice. For us the closeness of train station was a priority, also the tram was close to reach the beach and old town faster than walking. The rooms were cosy and clean and offered a good rest in a comfy bed.
