The property is beautiful and very well maintained. The owners where specially kind and responsive to our needs. We loved being close to many interesting sites in the Loire Valley and also having a calm place to relax. We had very nice fresh breakfast everyday at their cafe a short walk through their park. There's a very nice swimming pool too.

Well-appointed and the owner is absolutely wonderful! The pool was so refreshing. A fan was provided to help with the heat wave and it was nice and cool in the evening. The breakfast was exceptional.

Everything. The hosts are very friendly, the castle is gorgeous. The area is super quiet and you can enjoy some privacy. We had a large bedroom with a great view. The pool temperature is ridiculously nice. The breakfast was fabulous.We also enjoyed a great dinner in the evening. We could park our bikes easily. And we enjoyed biking around the area, and discovered the castle of Benais and the wine festival in Bourgueil.

Hostellerie La Croix Blanche is located opposite the Fontevraud Abbey in the heart of the Loire Valley, a Unesco World Heritage Site, 15 minutes from Saumur and Chinon.

We spent 2 nights at La Croix Blanche. It is in the centre of a charming and small village. There is ample parking at the rear of the hotel. As it is an old property there are no lifts to the bedrooms. We stayed in the family room - spacious and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was very good and we had an enjoyable dinner in the hotel with very good service.
