Absolutely fantastic in every aspect.
The gîte is fully equipped with everything you could need : the towels and linens were numerous and great quality, the kitchen comes with every appliances and utensils you need to cook and clean, and the whole house is decorated and furnished with great care.
The location is truly stunning : the hamlet where the house is, is charming, the terrace offers a view on the whole area and the very big garden is a pleasure to wander in. The surroundings are very peaceful and quiet, all your hear is the birds during daytime and the frogs at night. Plus, nearest villages and shops are only a 5-10 drive from there.
Last but not least, Aprille and Barry are absolutely lovely, available for their guests and open to suggestions. They ensured we had enough for breakfast and gave us plenty of eggs from their own chickens during the stay.

Excellent far exceeded expectations. Cartouniers is in a beautiful setting and the rooms were perfect. Had the most comfortable nights sleep. Geraldine couldn’t have been more helpful/friendly. The house and grounds were beautiful - very peaceful and well maintained (there were even live fish the pond). The pool area was the same - a perfect, heated pool with a view of the valley. The team running the hotel couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating. We had a brilliant stay and I'm already thinking of when we can go back.
