If you love experiencing life in a chateau full of art, antiques and wonderful rooms with views then this is the place. To make it even more special and memorable you have a lovely couple who own it and have renovated the building. They allow you to wander through all the rooms and as we were so interested they gave us a tour with explanations! Lovely breakfast in the main salon .

This property was absolutely fantastic, we couldn’t have asked for more as a group. It was spacious, clean, tidy and great amenities. A quiet rural location but a really short journey (5 mins) into the beautiful town of Eymet or a 25 minute drive into Bergerac. The host was really helpful too Would definitely stay again.

The location is in a small French provincial village. The "Gite"itself is fantastic and the owner Tamara speaks perfect English. The facilities are very, very good and the breakfast provided is also very nice. There is no nightlife if that is what you are after, the bigger village Bergerac is about 29 kilometres away. The "Gite" is a 15th Century former convent and it is fantastic. You would need your own transport to get to and from the location and to get around the district. Castillonnes is another larger village about five kilometres away with some great restaurants as well.
