The location was lovely. Just out of Sancerre, in a small village with plenty of wine tasting houses within walking distance. Our room was triple aspect with lovely views over the vineyards. The restaurant is expensive, but the food was really lovely. It was fully booked which is always a good sign. Breakfast was included which was good, but it didn't offer the range of foods we have had in other hotels. There isn't any parking at the hotel, bit there was plenty of parking in the village.

I love its authenticity everything inside is original and felt like living in the 1700s. The house keeper was very kind and provided a good service. The breakfast room / table was huge and felt magical every morning. Also it had its own pigeonaire go check it out.

Everything is spot on, Elizabeth was so lovely with us, the perfect host. The room is perfect, the photos don’t do it justice. Location is spot on for visiting the wineries nearby and the breakfast is delicious (it was no bother even to cater for my vegan wife). We loved making friends with Câline too!
