Best value.
Best customer satisfaction.
Little bit distance from the historical center, but Briancon is not a big city and with a little walking (with a challenging climb) no problems.
A traditional residence from the end of the 19th century, the Hotel Edelweiss is 200 metres from a free shuttle bus, which drives the 1 km to Serre Chevalier ski slopes and Monetier-les-Bains.

The old town was beautiful, but outside of that was difficult to get around as not much public transport. Used my bike and walking a lot for the majority of my stay. Some great restaurants to explore.

Great varierty of restaurants and shops. Everyone very friendly. Easy to park not very expensive. Paths cleared of snow. Lots to see and do that don't cost anything. A few takeaways .including McDonalds and vans selling pizza and kebabs which seemed to be doing briskly business. Well.worth a visit.

Good choice for active travellers because nestled in the intersection of several valleys (great possibilities for biking and hiking). The old part of the town is nice but a little bit too much turist-oriented: certainly it's a good choice for a rest day after sport activities.

Stayed in the summer for a cycling holiday.
Stayed in the summer for a cycling holiday. The new and old sides of Briancon are a travellers delight. You are not far from a number of popular cycling routes including the Col D’Izoard and Galbier. I will return
The location of the apartment in the old Citadel was perfect and The Panorama Cafe, underneath the appartment, was absolutely great for early evening food and drinks. There are many things to see and do in Briancon; it is an old historical French city and has a life completely outside the usual purpose built French ski resorts!
We travelled by car and were able to ski in Serre Chevalier, Puy St. Vincent and Montgenevre in France and Sansicario, Sestriere and Sauze d'Oulx in Italy - a great and varied week!
Situated inside the medieval town of Briancon, the location is fantastic.
There are restaurants very close and an evening / morning stroll trough the streets is much appreciated
It has an underground parking which is a great asset if you have luggage that you do not want to carry in the appartment.
The lady in charge with the check-in / check-out is very nice and helpful.
This is an excellent hotel. The staff are friendly and welcoming (especially Silvian) and couldn't do enough to help. The hotel location is central and handy for bars, restaurants as well as supermarkets. The rooms are a good size and beds comfortable. Breakfast is OK for €14. There is secure parking for cars and garages for cycles/motorbikes that is free.
staff is friendly and supportive
sauna and small pool is good enough after skiing.
large and easy accessible parking.
storage room for the ski equipment.
beds are really comfortable and with high quality mattress.
cosy and nice lobby bar.
large supermarket nearby.
good pizzeria next to the hotel
Perfect place for group of friends or couple of families. Clean, tidy and fully equipped. Car parking right in front of the door. Martial (the owner) was very friendly and very helpful with hints for beautiful hiking and cycling routes from Briancon. Looking forward to come again.
The location is great for being part of the city. The flat itself has a lot of charm and easy access to a parking lot which is unusual for being in the very center of a medieval city. Sheets and towels were provided which is unusual for such bookings in France.
The hotel is old, but the rooms are nice, small and clean. very basic.
Parking was full, and at the next morning they insisted I leave by midday despite I was the only guest parking there.
The location is ok, but overall is not a great value for money.
Very nice chalet
Close to Briancon and mountain tracks
Very nice staff provided us with guidance and recommendation of places of interest within the area
Baguets and croissants are delivered in the morning based on preorder
Easy parking
Close to the old town, 10 mins walk uphill. Small hotel with comfy and clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Very small carpark, so be aware of that. Othewise, it was nice spot to spend the night. It met my expectations.
What a lovely little hotel, our room was wonderful and very comfortable bed. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend it and we will book again.
It's a great location. Nice hotel, helpful and friendly staff.
Small room, but comfortable, warm and clean. Good breakfast.
There is a pool and a sauna we're we've been every evening.
A comfortable hotel located in between the historic town and the more modern part of the city. Very nice staff and very good breakfast. Facilities are clean and well-maintained
nice room. hotel allowed us to check in early and keep our bags on last day. freindly owner. good facilities for skis. good location near bus stop and train station.
The parking is excellent. We had a small room with a balcony. The breakfast was surprisingly good. The location was OK. The staff were better than is usual in France
secure parking, warm and friendly staff. breakfast is great.
no surprises, it markets itself as a two star budget hotel so dont expect more and you will be happy
