Such an elegant hotel. Our room and terrace were lovely, extremely comfortable and well maintained. The staff were exceptional, especially Emiline who seemed to be the unlucky one who was always available to answer all of our assorted questions about the surrounding area. She is delightful.
The restaurant, Roda, was outstanding. The food and service exceptional with an elegant setting.
Located on the banks of the River Dronne, this hotel offers elegant guest rooms with a classical décor. The à la carte restaurant features a flowery terrace overlooking the river.

Brantome is an extremely picturesque small town and is a major attraction for tourists, particularly during high season.
The varied shops and cafes provide opportunities to browse while the weekly market is a must-see if you are able to visit.
The whole town is a network of small streets and bridges to explore with the river, parks and abbey providing photo opportunities at every turn.
Visit the top floor of the abbey for spectacular views and an insight into the construction of the building.
Great central location for touring the area.

Brantôme is a lovely little town, great for a day trip or overnight stay. Very picturesque, with plenty to see and do. Good choice of restaurants but they fill up quickly so need to be booked fairly early in the day.

Great atmosphere, lots going on in the Summer months, brilliant weekly market. Lovely scenery, good amenities and plenty of history. The Caves of the Abbey are well worth a visit. The river is lovely where you can either go on the river boat or hire kayaks.
Everything, the welcome was so special! We did see a rat in the premises....and we had to wait an hour for our dinner, which we didn’t expect at a Michelin star restaurant. But really, we loved the entire experience! I highly recommend this beautiful hotel, perfectly located at the heart of Brantome (a cute town with kayaking and walking possibilities as well as just taking lazy walks through the two main streets- and the Abbey, which towers over the town is impressive)!
WE came to the b@b during our eight visit to France. So we had certain expectations. as to what we wanted. We were absolutely amazed how we were treated. Everything was great: the comfort and beauty of the facilities, the kindness and professionalism of people who run this gorgeous place. We were very lucky to find Moulin de Vigonac and already have recommended it to our family and friends.
Small, family-owned hotel a 2min walk from the beautiful village of Brantome. Spacious, thoughtfully renovated rooms, all opening to the garden / yard which has a small pool and a lush dining area. The multilingual owner-managers were super attentive and kind. Restaurant with short menu (as it should be) and excellent dishes.
Literally everything was exceptional, the room, the restaurant and food, the pool and gardens could not be faulted our best stay in France. On top of this it’s family run by such lovely people who made my birthday treat very special including a candle on my breakfast tray. Thank you all it was wonderful !
Beautiful charming hotel. Went above and beyond from the moment we arrived. We were celebrating a special anniversary and had the pleasure of eating in their restaurant. It was the best tasting menu that we have had , especially for a vegetarian. We chose a beautiful room overlooking the river.
Breakfast was wonderful! Isabelle had excellent suggestions for dinner! The yard was wonderful and peaceful. The pool was natural and spring fed. She has friendly dogs. The home has been lovingly renovated for modern conveniences. Brantôme is a lovely town with a beautiful abbey.
Angélique & Julian runs this tiny hotel with a few rooms & restaurant of traditional local french dishes all made by Angélique himself. In the dining room are photos of French Polynesia where the couple spent there earlier years. I recommend staying here and having dinner.
The location in Brantôme was like a fairy tale. The physical setting was simply beautiful. The staff was helpful about where to visit. The food at the hotel and its related restaurants was superb. The room was spacious.
Small but comfortable, clean, quiet (apart from adjoining rooms shower etc) room and very friendly host.
Lovely continental breakfast which was great value for money. Very convenient for walking into Brantôme.
The Location is excellent for families visiting Brantome. It is a bout a 15 minute walk up the hill from town. There is plenty of parking for more than one car if traveling as a group.
It’s a lovely old French home, beautifully decorated. Bed was very comfortable, breakfast quite nice, Stephanie is kind and helpful, location excellent for exploring Brantôme.
Delicious breakfast and attentive host. Great location a short walk from the centre of the lovely historic town of Brantome. Off street parking for our Morgan sports car.
