A pleasant little hotel in a very pleasant location. Set in the same square as the towers of the chateau and a stone-built church, the view from our bedroom window was superb. The owner was very helpful and spoke fluent English, having worked for some time in Australia and New Zealand. Our room was spacious and had been recently refurbished to a high standard, with a very new-looking en suite. The bed was comfy too. There was a pleasant atmosphere throughout and breakfast was good. Our only problem was that the restaurant is closed on Sundays, but the owner had booked a table for us at the pizzeria just across the road, which worked out well. Highly recommended for a stop-over.

Location and building are exceptional. The dog of the house joined us for a walk around a pond and proofed a good guide. Breakfast is also worth mentioning 😀

Located near the motorway.
Easy to find. Hotel was extremely clean and comfortable.
We only had home made Pizza and Rhum Babas in the bar area, but the dining room looked lovely. Staff very helpful.

We make our annual trip to watch the Le Mans 24hr Motor Race. Booking somewhere to stay is always difficult as places are booked a year in advance. Had booked a local hotel via Booking.com, but was let down by these hotels, due to double bookings etc etc. We have stayed at Le Pressoir Hotel on previous occasions which Booking.com knew about due to previous bookings and they very kindly accepted our booking and reserved 2 rooms for our stay, which was a God send as we had already paid for our Eurotunnel and event tickets. The hotel is circa 70km or 45 minutes away from the Le Mans Race circuit, but the drive to and from are on amazing long, straight, quiet roads. Due to delays at Eurotunnel and our late arrival, we received a courtesy call from Justine explaining how to access the free car park and our rooms. Thank you Justine. The Hotel Manager, Stephan, met us when we checked out and was as ever warm and accepting.
Breakfast is not included in the price, but for €9.50 you get a basic continental breakfast, which does the job. There is a local Carrafour supermarket if you need to stock up and the centre of St Calais is a 5 minute drive.
Would recommend the Hotel and will look to book again the future. Thank you Stephan and Justine for your kind hospitality.

Superb location in lovely extensive parkland, easy access to autoroutes & near Le Mans.
The well-trained staff were all friendly and very helpful.
The food was absolutely excellent - the evening meal choices were well-balanced and superb, very well presented and quite delicious.
The buffet breakfast was equally impressive and by far the best we have experienced in France in terms of range and sheer quality of choice and again, presentation.
