This place has a well equipped kitchen which isn't as common as one would like , location is quiet with private access and although we did not meet the hosts a flexible welcome was available which made it perfect for a short stop over . Would also consider for a longer stay .

Helen was so welcoming and friendly. The room was large, tea/coffee facilities and bottles of water were provided. The bed was so comfortable and the shower was really good too!! We sat on the decking in the afternoon sun. A little piece of Heaven. Breakfast was fresh and filling with lots of options. Jack and Jill (dogs) even put in an appearance and we're good company. Lovely room with comfortable bed. Great to have tea/coffee making facility in room. We had a private bathroom right next to the bedroom. - this was fine. Matthew was an excellent host and the evening meal was a treat especially as I was served a wonderful vegetarian meal as requested. Breakfast super too. Parking outside on the street was okay. The village is pretty and has a few facilities but being close to La Brenne was the plus for us. The lake on the edge of the village was a lovely spot for a long walk and some bird spotting. Would be very happy to return to B & B at Chaillac.

I loved the location, it felt like being in the true French countryside. My hosts were very welcoming and helpful, they are very nice people and very knowledgeable about the local area. The gite was really lovely, recently renovated with a lot of attention to detail and it was very clean. I had a wonderful soak in the luxurious bath and the bed was very comfortable. The groceries in the fridge were a nice touch. The hot tub was amazing!! I would highly recommend.
