The location was excellent for visiting the D-Day beaches and associated sites. The house is situated in a quiet courtyard and the private parking space is a bonus. I stayed here with my father to visit the Normandy landing beaches. Everything was perfect. The room was comfortable, clean, and had a very useful kitchen. The location is brilliant and Juno beach and its attractions are all walkable from the residence.
The owner was amazing and very accommodating in every respect. We have nothing but praise.

Breakfast was perfect enjoyed with our wonderful hosts. They were very welcoming and helpful in arranging our evening meal in the town. My son and I were made most welcome and we enjoyed delightful conversation about The Who, Keith Moon and other memories.

Room, facilities, location were superb. Most of the staff were welcoming, helpful and very patient of English attempts at speaking French. The food was beautifully prepared and cooked but it came with some reservations.

Bernières sur Mer is for us a special place as my father arrived on Juno beach on D-Day. We always receive a wonderful reception. It is a very good base to visit all the local attractions and small towns especially in relation to the D-Day landings.

Jean - Paul, my husband is particularly interested in the events of 6th June, 1944 so the visit to Bernieres - sur -Mer was very interesting, informative and thought provoking, steeped in historical events which were well documented in public areas.
The beach promenade was quiet, peaceful and tranquil. A perfect base to explore west and east landing areas of D Day.

In September we found this to be a Very quiet resort. A decent supermarket supplies all your needs but there seems to be just two restaurants. The one we tried was good value and I would use again. The other seemed a bit expensive. Both seem to have very limited opening hours. An excellent bakers near the church widely used by the locals so it must be good, cakes were great. It does provide an excellent base for visiting the sites and I would recommend Mount st Michel to anyone.

Great location opposite a park & very close to the beach. Short stroll to restaurants & hotel. Also short drive to the supermarket that had everything. Good base to explore the Normandy beaches.
The property was amazing. The breakfast produce was as good as you’d get in in a 5 star hotel. The hosts couldn’t do enough to ensure that our stay was as good as it could be.
