Room was large, clean comfortable. Bathroom had a great shower. Restaurant exceptionally good food, fixed price menus provided a good spread of prices. Wine list suited all with good expensive wines and very pleasant carafe of house wines . See photo of salad gourmand and pate de froie gras absolutely fab!

We came here last year for a stop over enroute to the south of France and loved the location and the prettiness of this hotel, so decided this year to do the same again! This year was just as outstanding although the weather was cold and rainy, so therefore we couldn't use the pool. The proprietor Frank is amazing, friendly, attentive and can not do enough for you. The home made food was amazing. The location is 2 minutes from the main motorway but far enough not to hear it. We will definitely be returning here. Thank you Frank for our wonderful stay.

Beautiful apartment, with lovely views overlooking the chateau. Lots of space, every room is spacious and well decorated. Friendly welcome from the host with lovely touches like eggs from their chickens, coffee pods for the machine and useful information booklet. Another great thing is the access to the chateau grounds, even when it's closed to the public. It was wonderful to walk around the park in the evening after a long drive. Perfect stopover on our route from Italy to UK.
