This is a wonderful place to stay. We loved it. Set in beautiful countryside and very peaceful. The dinners were amazing. We had a table to ourselves in the conservatory the first night and enjoyed superb food and wine. The second night we dined with everyone else and it was a great experience.

This is a beautiful location and the chateau is well maintained and clean. The surrounding area is calm and very peaceful. The pool wasn’t opened when we got to the chateau but I think if I’d asked they might have opened it. The atmospheric was informal but also well planned and dinner with the host was a very French experience! Salmon, chicken and beautiful wine to accompany each course. We didn’t go into Beaupréau as this was strictly an overnight stop so I can’t comment but the countryside around is lovely

Only drove through to get to our accommodation for the night...
Only drove through to get to our accommodation for the night and popped back for a take away kebab as the chateaux we were staying in wanted an arm and a keg each for dinner. We would have liked to explore more but everywhere was closed at the time we had our supper.
From what we saw a very pretty town with a chateaux to visit anytime before 8.00pm
