We stopped off en route to Bordeaux, absolutely ideal, easy parking which was free ‘ le weekend’. We asked for ground floor room as we aren’t too keen on stairs and that was great. Sitting in the courtyard with a kit royale was fabulous after a long journey. The meal was delicious and the local white wine wonderful.

This gite was peaceful and secluded the accommodation had everything you need and the owners were on hand if you needed them. I would recommend you don't choose this property if you like be in the center of everything as you will need a car to go to the local restaurants and if you need supplies for a bbq. if you like to get away from it all then this is the perfect property.

A pleasant small country hotel set in a quiet village. The hotel consists of six rooms in a block on one side of the road and the reception, bar and restaurant in a building on the other side of the road.
Because the hotel is small I would recommend that you give them an estimated time of arrival. We arrived soon after 3 p.m. and found no-one there. After filling up our car with petrol and doing some shopping in a nearby town we returned to find the proprietor had also returned.
The room was pleasant with a decent sized shower and a comfortable bed. We got a good night’s sleep in very peaceful surroundings. Although we had been led to believe that the restaurant was closed on a Monday, we discovered it was open during the peak tourism season and had an excellent meal. We were well looked after and the service was friendly and helpful. I would stop there again.
