Very welcoming hosts, and extremely comfortable room with great shower. I arrived at the end of a very tough day cycling in the rain and was fantastic to be able to dry out my wet things in front of the wood burner. Secure, dry place to leave bike. Great to have a communal room (with the wood burner) which was very cosy with books and a microwave, and gave the opportunity to meet other travellers. A working farm, with donkeys, would be great for families.

The best surprise was the lock up garage for our bicycles. Wonderful.
lovely big bedrooms and bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Nice view. Did not have Breakfast but enjoyed the coffee and hot chocolate that we could have anytime.

The parking area at the rear of the hotel was crowded but we were guided to a parking site fairly near our room. Next morning there were still a lot of cars parked and this was reflected in the number of people at breakfast. The staff did a good job rushing around refilling food and drink, which disappeared quickly. The entire staff, starting with the man who checked us in and showed us to our parking, were pleasant and helpful.
