The property was much more spacious once inside than originally anticipated from the outside. There were a variety of rooms/ suites of different size and those that we stayed in or could see were all immaculate and welcoming.
Everything was as you would hope for with a warm , informative welcome by our excellent hosts.

Room, facilities, location were superb. Most of the staff were welcoming, helpful and very patient of English attempts at speaking French. The food was beautifully prepared and cooked but it came with some reservations.

We like St Aubin, this was a return trip but the accommodation that we had previously enjoyed was unavailable.
Beau Rivage Hôtel-Restaurant faces the sea in Luc-sur-Mer, in the Calvados region. It is only 250 metres from Luc-sur-Mer Casino and 16 km from Caen and its train station.

Stay there for a restful period of a few days or more. Parking is free as is WIFI. Breakfast is excellent and more than reasonable with all the coffee I could drink.
Large shower and lots of restaurants within 5 to 10 minutes away. Ideal stay for a visit of all the Normandy historical sites, which given their large number would require a couple days stay or more.
