We didn’t find the key safe very easy to use but there were a number of people around who knew what to do. Shortly after our arrival the owner arrived. She was a delightful lady. She pointed out that there were drinks for us in the fridge and tea and coffee. The apartment had a well equipped kitchen. The oven was easy to use.
The apartment is well placed to walk into the lovely old town and if you need to shop it is almost opposite Aldi.
Located in a natural setting, just 3 km from the centre of Sampans, this hotel offers mountain views. Guests can relax on the furnished terrace with a drink from the bar and Dole is 4 km away.

Very nice hotel. The swimming pool was newly refurbished and very pleasant. Staff were extremely kind and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were good.

Biggest surprise of our trip. Only chose it as a practical staging post but wandered into a gourmets paradise. The restaurant has a Michelin star and everything is geared to the perfect culinary experience. Our room was exceptionally large and comfortable, the pool and views delightful and the staff simply couldn't do enough for us.

Small owner run B&B which was perfect for our purposes. Breakfast was ample and good quality.

There is an excellent river port for those interested in boats and all amenities available. The best time to eat is at lunch time and the best time to visit is in the summer
Small hotel situated in the very heart of town. No private parking but plenty of parking on the street outside. The room was comfortable and clean. The real surprise and bonus was the restaurant downstairs in the hotel. The food was absolutely first class and probably the best we had on our trip through France into Italy. Auxonne is just 10/15 minutes off the motorway and the overall price/quality of the hotel and restaurant justifies coming a few miles off the motorway.
Truly unique experience to stay in a 15th Century building with many original features. Florent was extremely helpful and went out of his way to meet us and explain everything about the property. This was one of the coolest places we stayed in, Auxonne is a medieval town with tons of history and very cool buildings. The Notre Dame of Auxonne is right next door, the bells were awesome to hear, even though it was early.
The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The hotel was easy to find and we were able to park in a location where we felt our car was safe. Even though the hotel is dated, the facility was clean and comfortable. We gave 4 stars for the dinner!! It is a small restaurant (and very popular with the residents). The menu isn't enormous but offered something for everyone and it was delicious.
We stayed here as a stop over on a longer drive. The hotel is a short drive off the autoroute but in a very pretty and atmospheric village right next to the impressive cathedral. The hotel was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was good and we ate in the restaurant as well which was tasty. Was ideal for a stop over with a little extra!
Hotel staff couldn’t have been more friendly and welcoming. Dinner was excellent, tasty and perfectly cooked and the simple buffet breakfast with local cheeses and ham, pastries and fruit was the perfect start to the day.
