We had a wonderful stay at Cabane Rouge-Gorge - everything was perfect. The treehouse lodge was located in the middle of woods, surrounded by lots of trees, it was so peaceful and quiet. We were met by our host who showed us to the location and around the accommodation once we arrived. The lodge itself was so comfy and cosy and provided everything we needed. The outside space was great, especially the wood fired hot tub was the highlight for us both. Each morning we received a lovely breakfast that was dropped off in a beautiful basket - the yogurts (which I think were homemade) were delicious. It was a perfect stay and I'd highly recommend - we didn't want to leave.

Fabulous room in a luxuriously appointed and sympathetically decorated Grand Maison. Heated swimming pool and spa and views from our balcony made relaxation easy . The hosts organised a very generous picnic too. Totally stunning property well worth the price.

The hotel is in a beautifully renovated old building, with many original features preserved. Our room was extremely comfortable, spacious and luxurious. It had everything we needed, lovely shower gel, body lotions , etc bath robes, a magnifying mirror, plenty of wardrobe space, a separate toilet. A mini bar, coffee machine, tea making facilities - everything ! We used the heated pool too, very relaxing ! There are spectacular views of the Vézère river and the town, as well as large windows at the rear of the pool and breakfast room showing the amazing rock face behind the hotel.
Breakfast was great and we also had an exceptional dinner at the restaurant on site - Ro. Bo .

3-persons room which was recently renovated with a good working airconditioning in quiet village. Safe parking place at the hotel, and nice swimming pool. The hotel also has a nice restaurant (good food) with outside terras. Also the included breakfast was very good for French standards. Friendly supportive staff guiding us to the room, available for any questions. Also nice to have a small supermarket next door.
This hotel sits in a park, next to the Vézère River, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage. It offers an outdoor pool and en suite rooms with a flat-screen TV.
Super pretty property with a lovely pool ( which was still warm enough to swim in -just- at the end of Sept). The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. We found the friendly hotel cat waiting for us outside our room the next morning. Dinner was really delicious, we had the seafood menu with oysters and a scallop risotto. The couple running the hotel were very friendly and helpful. There was a good parking area right outside the hotel.
This place is a gem. Quite location, even saw a deer . Spotlessly clean both inside and out. I thought I may have spotted a leaf by the swimming pool but on closer inspection I was mistaken ! Friendly team running the hotel and restaurant. A good welcome and great service throughout.
