It is very close to the beach and the local supermarkets.
We made a day trip to Spain, which is also very close by and easy to do from this location.
I would have liked to see working facilities for washing your clothes though, but that is about the only negative thing I can think of.

A fantastic area of Perpignan to visit & stay lovely family atmosphere and very busy for beginning of July, there is much to see and do for all ages with numerous day and nightime activities available. There is a small train running into the centre of Argeles day and night in the surrounding area, there is a funfair with many rides. On Bastille day 14 July there were free firework displays in the area.
The weather was an added bonus

A busy place but in early June many restaurants/cafes were closed on Tuesdays. Good place for families and both the young and old. Argelès ville (the old town) is worth walking up to or taking the little electric bus up there - only costs €1. The Office de Tourism is very helpful with plenty information on horse riding to boat trips. The Mémorial Camp Musée is worth visiting to remind everyone of the horrors of war and the life of a refugee. The Casa de l'Albera has exhibitions on the region and its history. The Église Notre-Dame del Prat d'Argelès-sur-Mer (28 Rue de la Solidarité) is a beautiful gothic church. If you like to dine in a calm location and eat well go to Auberge du Bon Vivant (1, route de la mer). It's worth visiting Argelès for this restaurant alone. Whatever one chooses it will be delicious. Plus La Casa des Rails is a gem of a restaurant with a desert - Mille-Feuille Fraise "ç'était un petit bout de paradis":

Argeles is worth exploring.
Argeles is worth exploring. Every day you find something new. Try the reasonably priced tapas bars down at the Port. Most sites offer free travel on the Train/Bus which is not as embarrassing as it first appears. Lots of end of bin wine offers in Intermarche and Lidls had some interesting local offerings.

The owner of the hotel and Jack (receptionist) are very friendly and kind, I felt at home. The room is very clean, quiet with comfy bed. It situated at the beach front, in the area one can find so many good restaurants, shops, supermarket is nearby. I had a fantastic stay there. Definitely would like to come back and highly recommend. Thank you so much 👍😊
The hotel is easy to find from the coast road (corniche) between Argeles and the pretty port of Collioure and has plenty of shady parking. There is a beautiful view of the sea towards Argeles sur Mer and a lovely pool and sauna on the terrace, again, with nice views. The breakfast was very good and there is an all-day snack service.
Only the one night in the property, but WOW.. beautiful hotel, with such a great host in Sophie.. very welcoming and a warm person. The decor in the hotel is beautiful. We had a family room and the value was second to none.
