Agde is a beautiful location but it is important to remember it is contained between 2 rivers so it’s essential to have transport to visit the places you can see from the beach there. That said there is plenty to do within the beach area and port. There is a small passenger boat that operates in certain hours too!
Despite us not knowing any French and the staff not knowing much English, the staff were very helpful and willing to help with our concerns and questions. Our room was small, but very tidy and nice - visibly upgraded recently. Although the hotel looked a bit dated (excluding the room), hotel felt very homey.
The interior of the hotel is clean and modern, but it's in a historic building right on the river in the most charming part of Agde. The receptionist was lovely and helpful. We were able to park our car and explore from the hotel on foot. The price was right for the size of the room and the location.
This is a 5 Star 2 Star hotel. Comfortable, clean, run by a lovely couple who obviously take pride their business. This is my 4th visit to Agde but my first stay at this hotel. In the future I will always stay here.
Pretty hotel with a very nice river view, walking distance to historic Agde (beautiful to roam the narrow streets), they had storage for our bikes, lots of options nearby to get dinner. Great air conditioning
