Ideal overnight stop, just off the motorway. Comfy bed. Friendly staff. Plenty of eating place’s within walking distance or very short drive ( although don’t bother going to the KFC- worse I ever tasted).
Set in the heart of Abbeville, this elegant red brick hotel is a classic example of Ponthieu architecture and offers stylish and well-appointed accommodation.

This was our fourth stay and the staff have always been very friendly and the food in the restaurant consistently good.

The setting, the garden, the warm welcome. Everything was simply splendid. Eric's food was wonderful and much appreciated. We enjoyed watching the capers of the cats, the dogs and the chickens. Les Myrrophores is an oasis of calm run by a lovely couple.
Les Trois Roses is located a 10-minute walk from the centre of Abbeville and 600 metres from Abbeville Train Station. It offers free WiFi and a large garden with a terrace and a vegetable patch.

The electronic entry system makes life easy, code for the front entrance portal and a seperate code for the apartment, no keys to lose.
Lovely Church and walk by canal and River. Great traditional cafe visit Chez Jules’s but remember to speak the Lingu Franca and try the salted peanuts with an oragina and Perrier for the real Francophile experience!

The cathedral is well worth a visit. We walked along the river Somme and that was very nice! As for the restaurants we recommend Le petit Bistro (15 Pl. Max Lejeune, 80100 Abbeville). Good beef, pommes and salad for a good price.

We stopped overnight on our journey south, went out for a bit of a snoop and discovered a historic town sadly decimated twice by world wars but sensitively rebuilt (twice) to be a lovely place to visit before continuing our road trip

Abbeville is a fairly small town with not much going on.
Abbeville is a fairly small town with not much going on. Restaurants shut early.
The river Somme runs through the town, and you can have a walk along it.
We chose this as a stop over on our way back to Calais. It was nice to see another town on our journey.

Not enough equipment in the apartment for three people.
Not enough equipment in the apartment for three people.
No internet information and no toiletries.
Not even soap to use after the toilet. Filter coffee and machine but no filters so unable to use it. Unable to use the hot rings as only one tiny saucepan available. Staff was hit and miss. The bar was open but no staff available to serve customers. I was sent by the receptionist to go to the restaurant and find the staff. She couldn’t be bothered to ring for me.

Abbeville is quite a small town but it is easy to walk around and visit the interesting sites - historic buildings and parks. The tourist office provides trail maps. The Boucher de Perthe museum and the Collegiale Vulfran are worth visiting. There are some good restaurants too - in particular we enjoyed an evening meal in La Corne.
Best thing about the property is the location, right in the center of this beautiful town. We loved the antique store right across the street. The city is a gem and the hotel made everything walking distance, seemed to be plenty of parking when I arrived. Friendly staff, friendly townsfolk, beautiful architecture, nice quaint stores. we also had a room with a view of the city center, what a great addition, will always remember the view. Only stayed one night, wish it was more, will be back for more sometime in the future.
This place was a little gem!! Totally gorgeous old fashioned yet modern take on a French boutique type hotel. It was beautiful. The staff were friendly and super helpful, the rooms were great sizes, everything was clean and comfortable. We stayed in a room on the top floor with huge windows that looked out over the local area which was beautiful. Breakfast in the morning was fresh bread, croissants, preserves, cereals and the best coffee! Loved our stay and will defo be going back!
It was an excellent establishment. Location is perfect for the journey I was undertaking and it was easy to find. The facilities were as expected with the added bonus of a discount from a nearby restaurant if one was staying in the IBIS hotel. I received a warm reception at the hotel, everything was explained to me, The hotel had made a special effort with its Christmas decorations. Breakfast was also well done and I did not have to rush.
Rather than a single room like a hotel we had two spacious bedrooms, a large living area, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, all spotlessly clean. The grounds were well kept and the staff were super friendly. The bar was open 8-8 (it is an old people’s home). You can’t really say there is a restaurant, but there are lots of delivery options but better still a full kitchen so you can make your own if you want.
As Abbeville was badly hit by bombing in the war, much of the centre has been re-built. The cathedral still stands (mostly) and the newer parts of the town have grown around it. The hotel is well situated in this bustling town and we chose it for the proximity to Calais for our Shuttle the following day. Parking was ample in the square and the hotel had a very nice restaurant for dinner and breakfast.
small compact and lovely. We booked at 8pm at night we we were massively delayed on our trip to France, was worried about getting cancelled on the basis of lateness but wasn’t an issue. Place was lovely, clean and minutes walk from the river and the centre of the town. We were just passing through but will definitely be back.
A really beautiful hotel. Lovely selection of local food and home made pastries for breakfast. Eric the host was friendly and helpful and cooked us a delicious evening meal. Great position , close to town but in peaceful surroundings.
Clean and good value being a budget hotel. Location was ifeal for getting to the A16 and Calais ferry port. Although there was a coffee vending machine a kettle in the room would have been perfect.
Central location in Abbeville. Good standard of clean, typically corporate style of furnishings but of very good quality. Restaurant provides an excellent menu and the food is exceptional.
The location was perfect for getting to Calais the next morning after a very long day driving from the South of France.
Perfect place to stay with dogs as there are extensive gardens.
Very clean with very comfy bed. Very pet friendly. A nice cosy restaurant. Good breakast. Don't be put off by the exterior of the hotel - it's very nice and spotlessly clean inside.
