Oh my goodness! What an amazing resort and little pocket of the world. We stayed 6 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The staff were so lovely and the facilities great. So many activities. We loved the private beach picnics, beach, snorkelling and spa treatments. If you're looking for a place to stay in Fiji, book this one! You won't regret it. We will be back for sure!

Yasawa Homestays, hotel in Mbukama

Set in a pristine beachfront location on the remote Yasawa Island, Yasawa Homestays provides a beautiful escape. Immerse yourself in Fijian culture with traditional dances, food and village life.

Thank you for giving me such a warm welcome here at Taven Homestay! I have always felt at home far away from my home in Germany. I had a wonderful time playing Uno with Tusi, his wife Julie and Don who also stayed here for more than a few days. Not to mention Salome and all the other friendly people I've met here! The food was really delicious and I felt like I was in a beautifully maintained botanical garden. Next time I am in Fidji I will definitely come back to this place!

S@fe Landing Lodge, hotel in Mbukama

Facing the beachfront, S@fe Landing Lodge offers 2-star accommodation in Nacula Island and features a garden, terrace and restaurant.

My expectations were uncertain, but they exceeded every limit! Thank you to everyone for the magnificent experience. Here are a few points to consider if you're planning to come here: -The boat takes almost 5 hours to get here because it stops at all the other islands. I recommend staying at least 2-3 nights. -There's only one meal served for everyone, and they accommodate allergies. I brought some snacks, but ants invaded my room, so I advise against leaving food open in your room—closed is okay. - ‘Fiji time' is a real thing, everything is very relaxed. Activities are decided the day before for the next day, based on everyone's preferences. - Evenings (in June) are cool, so bring something warm. - There are both free and paid activities. I recommend taking the village tour to learn about the culture. -Bring cash only and consider buying souvenirs from the village market to support the locals. -Consider visiting more islands since you're nearby. Blue Lagoon is beautiful but very touristy, this place is a quiet paradise instead. -Electricity can be intermittent and only works from 6 pm, bring a power bank. Don't expect luxury, but instead, expect to immerse yourself in Fijian culture and meet many other backpackers :)
