Paradise!!! Location is amazing not too far from the mainland to travel with kids. Staff were amazing - we were all so sad to leave. The kids loved kids club and the staff looked after them like they were their own. Everyone was friendly always saying bula and a smile on their faces. Food was great always different options to choose from and everything was delicious.

We stayed in a "beachfront bure" which is a standalone studio apartment overlooking the beach.
Staff were friendly and very helpful (we are an older couple so this made all the difference) - also entertaining and personable.
We were lucky with the weather - no rain and temperate without being too hot. Water great temperature for swimming. Rock and coral outside the bungalows so need reef shoes - swimming best at high tide but ok any time. Kayaks also available for an easy paddle in calm water (at least while we were there).
Took the "half board" offer - (breakfast was inclusive, half board covers a 3-course dinner at a considerable discount from ordering off the menu). Food was fresh (especially the fish) tasty and well prepared.

We didnt stay for the surfing, but for snorkelling, cloud 9 and the bushwalk. From the summit of the hike the views are amazing. Take sturdy shoes, water (safe to drink) and a few snacks from the mainland as the hike is hard work in the heat, its steep with loose dirt/gravel - about an hour or so one way.
We snorkelled off sandbank and it wasnt too busy - at low tide the sandbank is exposed so put your towel and water down there and spend an hour with the reef fish. Some of them came right up to me, I wonder if they’ve been fed or are just friendly.
Cloud 9 was just fun. Byo goggles or snorkel, a money card and a towel. Jump off the roof into the water, swim with the fish and enjoy a pizza and a cocktail.

Tropica island resort was beautiful, relaxing and out of this world picturesque, the people are amazing, the food and cocktails delicious and a gorgeous day spa. We did 2 different day tours for snorkelling and visiting castaway island including a set up lunch on the beach. The resort offers activities within it and happy hour each day looking out over the amazing sunset. This resort is never overcrowded and all the staff know you’re name and feel like they become part of your family. It was such an idyllic stay, we stayed 3 days but could have stayed a few more. If you’re into clubbing or loud music this is not the place for you but you can get a boat as a day trip to day clubs if that’s what you desire. Relaxing by the pool, doing activities, reading and drinking cocktails was just bliss!! We will definitely be back to Tropica Island resort.

Great service - whilst the island, accommodation and food...
Great service - whilst the island, accommodation and food were all great, the activities were good - it was the staff that really make this resort such a desirable place to go. So friendly, they really welcome you into their "family" and make you feel like you belong.
They go out of their way to help and ensure that you have everything you need.
