Good location to spend night before very early night, shuttle bus to airport was excellent. Room was clean and good size. Windows were so high up that I could not see out but it did not matter as I was there to sleep before my early flight. Breakfast was very good with a lot of variety, and available from 03.30 so was able to actually enjoy it before going to airport. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Location is right next to the main terminal. Easy to find and get to, and good lift access to the hotel main floor. Check in was simple. Room was spacious and clean - everything worked. Plenty of power sockets. Bathroom was clean and well presented. Considering how close it is to the airport, there was not much noise from outside. Aircon was good enough. Evening meal in the restaurant was great. Large lounge/tv area for relaxing near the bar area. Breakfast was very good and early - 4am start. I will for sure book to stay here again in the future.

There is VERY little in the area around the facility. It's on a major road in an industrial area -- all supporting airport operations. However, there IS a golden nugget. A 5-minute walk will find you at a cafe run by a nice guy from Iraq. They have a buffet but you can also get food to go. It's very nice and very fairly priced. Look up "The First Ravintola"

Great location near the airport for an overnight stay. Nothing fancy but reasonable. Price was fair. Dinner in the Bistro was OK, steak was good but expensive, as expected in a hotel. I found it concerning that glass, glasses were in the bathroom with a tile floor and marble countertops. One slip and it could be a dangerous mess. They were just sitting on the counter, clean but not wrapped in any sustainable, sanitary packaging. Reusable - Yes but Best Choice - not sure. Don't miss breakfast. Huge selection of great foods. One of my best meals in Finland.

Vantaa was a vibrant city.
Vantaa was a vibrant city. Especially more busier in the central area near the harbour. As it was a planned short layover in the city, we do what most tourists would do. Did the ferry to Suomenlinna castle sea fortress. It was a good season for baby breath, hence we see a lot of it while we drive to Sipoonkorpi National Park.

What we liked most was the wonderful forest walks very close by and the climb up the steps and tracks of the man made hill, within the forest area.
We had a rental car and drove into the city center but the station and a shopping mall with restaurants were also good.

I really liked the design of the hotel, restaurant, lounge area. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. I had a great night's sleep before my flight to America after an 8 hour bus ride from St. Petersburg to Helsinki. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was very tasty and inexpensive, and the breakfast was amazing! Many thanks to everyone who works at the hotel!
This place is all about the location really: if you need to stay overnight in Helsinki to catch a morning plane, this is a great place in terms of value for money. I stayed there multiple times already, it's an easy walk from the hotel to the airport with no hassle: check in and check out are self-managed, you don't need anyone to do it.
The bathrooms and showers are shared but I found them to be pretty clean.
The room is clean and not the most comfortable place you've stayed in but perfect for me for a overnight stay.
Hotel was perfect stop over after visiting Jakobstad. We stayed 2 nights and then visited Helsinki. The train station was right outside with a 30 minute direct journey into the centre at a cost less than €5. The staff were fabulous, the breakfast choice was amazing and rooms kept spotlessly clean. The airport was 1 train stop away (but we walked one way as it was sunny and needed to stretch legs!). Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
A very modern and neat hotel near the airport. The free shuttle runs regularly and it takes only 5 minutes to the airport so it's very convenient for early flights. The connection to the city center is also easy, with one bus. The breakfast was also really nice and it starts very early to accommodate early flight passengers. We also liked the self checkin option that was super easy and fast.
Comfortable stay, very close to the train station, only a short train ride away from Vantaa airport. Quiet and spacious room, friendly staff and good breakfast. We had an early flight, so we were happy for the option of an early breakfast. We were especially surprised about how pet friendly the hotel is, our dog even got his own blanket, food bowl and a bag of treats!
This is a great option if you need to stay near the airport. I stayed here before an early morning flight, and it was so convenient to have the free shuttle to the airport available. There are decent amenities at the hotel (restaurant, bar with snacks, gym, sauna), but the hotel is also close to a giant K-Market and mall, if you need anything.
The room and facilities were exactly as described, and it worked really well as a nearby overnight stop before an early flight from Helsinki Airport. It's only 19 minutes drive from the airport parking. The hosts gave us privacy when we arrived, and also communicated really well via messages before our stay.
Had a 14 hour layover and didnt want to stay at the airport. Wanted to rest before my next flight. I found Clarion Hotel to be super clean, comfortable and welcoming. Delicious breakfast, comfortable bed. Close to airport. Friendly staff. Would definitely come back for a longer stay next time.
The location was handy for my situation since I was transferring from Helsinki airport to catch up with a train towards north and had to spend a night somewhere along the way. The place has good train connections. The place was clean, and the idea of a self-service hotel was good.
