Wilderness Hotel Inari & Igloos, hotel in Inari

Situated right by the shores of Lake Inari, Wilderness Hotel Inari & Igloos provides accommodation and activities.

The cabin was modern, clean, and well appointed. It also had space for my car outside. The restaurant offers some brilliant local dishes and drinks, and breakfast is more than adequate. The sauna in the cabin was a treat!

Lake Inari Mobile Cabins, hotel in Inari

Lake Inari Mobile Cabins offer glass bedrooms allowing guests impressive views of the arctic surroundings and if lucky enough, the Northern Lights.

First of all the concept in itself is great to put a cabin in the middle of the lake and watch the northern lights. The hosts are wonderful and their willingness to share their knowledge is great for the stay.

Holiday Home Solokoto by Interhome, hotel in Inari

Holiday Home Solokoto by Interhome is set in Inari. A dishwasher, a fridge and kitchenware can be found in the kitchenette. The accommodation is non-smoking.

All four of us loved the cabin itself! Located at about a 15-min drive from Inari town, this cabin is perfect for anyone looking to get away from anything, in the summer or in the winter. We went there in December, and as you can see from some of the pictures, it's situated at the edge of the lake and has a wonderful view. It was comfortable enough for 4 people. The kitchen was stocked with all the pots and pans you would need along with some basic condiments. The attached sauna is a great additional feature to have. Because the cabin is so far away from everything else, you will be able to see the northern lights in the winter from the deck of the cabin itself, as we did, provided you are lucky enough.

Aurora Husky Hut, hotel in Inari

Situated in Inari in the Lapland region, Aurora Husky Hut features accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a sauna. A stovetop and kettle are also available.

You’re in the middle of nowhere surrounded by over 100 huskies. How amazing! The dogs are all so kind, you can pet them all. We had a bbq in the communal huts, where you can make your fire and hang out. Good breakfast. It was such a great experience! Don’t expect luxury though. There is an eco toilet in the cabin, but no kitchen or shower. Washing is done in the sauna, if you need. We prepared our tea on the wood fire in the cabin.

Villa Lanca Activities, hotel in Inari

Villa Lanca is in Inari, a few minutes’ walk from Lake Inarijärvi and the town centre. WiFi and parking are free. Villa Lanca offers activities such as Northern Lights hunting.

The location is ideal in the city center, good beds, and the hostess was very accessible as well. I would definitely recommend the husky sledding excursion organized by the stay itself.

Crow Creek Cabins, hotel in Inari

Crow Creek Cabins is located in Inari. The accommodation comes with a fully equipped kitchenette with a fridge, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with bidet and shower.

Such a beautiful and serene location. Peaceful and quiet, surrounded by trees and covered in snow. The facilities in the cabin were great - all the things we needed to make our own food (and coffee) and the wee porch was perfect for sitting on with a coffee and watching the snow fall. The bathroom floor was heated which was a nice little surprise. The beds were cosy and the wifi was great. The discounted buffet brekkie at the hotel was also a nice little extra.

We went on a snowmobiling trip and a dog sledding trip.

We went on a snowmobiling trip and a dog sledding trip. We liked both but really enjoyed the dog sledding more. The cabins on the lake at night, when the northern lights came out, were perfect. Yes it was cold but we could go in an out of the cabins and take pictures as the northern lights waxed and waned. Truly a fabulous adventure that cannot be replicated at a hotel.

Pretty little town, beautiful nature, very few people in the streets. Northern lights!! Not many places to eat or to go out to, but it wasn't a problem for us. There's also a big museum and a cultural center there, hotels, a souvenir shop and supermarkets, and generally many things specially for the tourists. There is apparently no public bus going between Inari and the Ivalo airport (only Inari and the Ivalo town), but it's possible to book a shuttle bus.

    the Wilderness hotel was fantastic.

the Wilderness hotel was fantastic. We love to hike and there are quite a few nice hikes in the area. The museum was very impressive and certainly worthwhile a visit. The restaurant at the hotel was very good and we ate there every night of our stay. Highly recommended!

    We stayed at Hotel Inari.

We stayed at Hotel Inari. View over huge lake from hotelroom and restaurant - and you can walk by foot or snowshoes or skis on the lake or ride snow mobile. Mini villlage, totally quiet, yet supermarket just across the road and tours in the area starting next door without any disturbance. Nice room, good breakfast though a bit crowded for Covid conditions at least at rush time (9 am) and probably winter holiday in Finland. Much much better to go to Inari than to Ivalo. Very friendly and helpful people, and many wonderful tours available.

Kind of remote town middle of nowhere, next to lake Inari.

Kind of remote town middle of nowhere, next to lake Inari. Not much to do if you'd like to downhill skiing or party but if one likes nature, calmness and clean, healthy atmosphere, then Inari is beautiful place. Especially during winter months. Dogsled rides, cross country skiing or such.

Great staff. They guided us to an extraordinary location for spotting the Northern lights, and we did! Perfect apartment with everything you need. I just loved the way they were prepared for my one year old - perfect crib and kid-friendly moomin cutleries. Beds are extraordinarily comfy - top class — 5 star hotel level. Proper siZed kitchen. Larger than traditional kitchens. A minute walk from the hypermarket. Whole apartment is so clean and exactly the same as you see in the pictures.

Location just at the lake, although in dark winter it was still beautiful. I had my first real Aurora experience that night and could be noticed even from the room. Nice dining room with good breakfast. Parking available. Nice room, though not too big, really nice bathroom. Thanks for having us for that delicious dinner, although we were a bit late. The best souvenir shop in Finland, I've seen so far just across the street. Museum and activities near by.

Beautiful location, next to the lake! We were supposed to be in a bungalow but ended up in an Aurora hut, it was awesome! New, beautifully decorated, with big windows through which we could watch northern lights...just perfect! The staff is the best you could wish for! The reception was closed but we had contacts with them via messages and phone calls which was very convenient.

Aurora was good, service was good, limited dining options in this small town, best to get a room with stove for numerous night stays to guarantee aurora activity and more importantly, a night without clouds. Fun activities though pricey relative to Rovaniemi. But accomodation cost was reasonable. Dining in Inari has only 2 options, papana and hotel inari restaurant.
