Thank you so much for everything, the greatest breakfast, the greatest view and it's really the best for the price! They have a nice cafeteria/bar as well.
Set in the historical Galician city of Tui, a border town with Portugal, this stunning hotel is housed in a majestic old building, surrounded by a peaceful, natural environment.

The location, quite peaceful. The concept in a general term.

Tui was gorgeous, wish I could have stayed longer than one quick night but was meeting up with friends on the Camino and had to move on. So many good restaurants as well and the river walk is lovely! If you're on the Camino, stop at Albergue Ideas Peregrinas for their breakfast. It's a full-service cafe with strong coffee and American breakfasts with the nicest toasted baguettes. They have a store as well attached with Camino provisions - ponchos, poles with rubber tips, hats, shorts, wool socks, all high quality.

Very historic old town.
Very historic old town. It used to be the capital of Galicia. Beautiful cathedral. Location next to Mindo river makes it very special as well. Strolling along the river, with Tui lingering above was a delight.

Tui was bigger than I expected.
Tui was bigger than I expected. It is a very interesting town close to the Portuguese border and has many historical buildings. There are lots of bars to choose from - El Pilar being our favourite. The old cathedral is worth a visit to view the architecture and there are some lovely walks along the riverside.

Restaurant/cafes near Albergue Pallanes were not open for food in the evening when local referrals were given but a nearby supermarket was well stocked. The kitchen at the Albergue provided all that was required for meal preparation. Only stayed one night. At the end of a days travel/walking Tui restaurants were a step too far away.
Our stay at Casa de Barca was amazing! We were walking the Camino and it is right on the path. Juana is the best host ever! She even picked us up at the bus station. She has thought of everything you might need. It was our first stop and the only negative was that she set the bar too high and the subsequent stops just didn't quite compare. Wish we could have stayed longer! She also showed us how to walk to Valenca (a beautiful walk!) which we would have missed and it was a highlight. Don't hesitate to stay here!!
V nice, self-contained unit in the host's lovely garden close to the centre of Tui yet in a quiet, tranquil location. This property has a feeling of space. The interior is traditional and homely. The host was the best - our Spanish is poor, so we used Google Translate to communicate. Our courier Caminofacil delivered our baggage to the wrong address, and the host made contact with them, addressed the issue and then drove us to the address to pick them up!
This is a beautiful historic hotel in a wonderful central location in the old part of the city of Tui. The room was lovely, very comfortable bed and the bathroom was large and with all facilities. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The staff were very kind and delightful and helped us to arrange our onward Camino journey. The hotel is both charming and excellent value for money.
We had been told about Parador Hotels by friends and were looking forward to our stay. We were, frankly, underwhelmed by the one at Tui. There is nothing wrong with it, but it is a bit tired, a bit stuffy and very expensive for what you get, especially compared to other hotels in Spain. It is, however, well placed to explore the old town of Tui.
This was my second stay and it was as superb as the first. Staff was very helpful setting up emergency dental visit. Breakfast was a treat and the grounds are lovely. My only suggestion would be to replace the shower head in two room unit 105.. That would make it an 11!
This is a family owned hotel. Everybody goes out of their way to make one comfortable. Extremely well located (very near the Cathedral and the old city) and at a very reasonable price.
The wife is a very good cook and the meals are quite affordable.
Very nice family-run business, very friendly and welcoming staff. Very quiet place up in the hills above Tui, just a few minutes from the Portuguese border. Very good in-house restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book it again.
Our lovely host was kind and so welcoming and even gave us a tour round the beautiful town of Tui before we started our Camino. The room is spotlessly clean, the facilities are amazing, it is in a perfect location and it is a calm and relaxed oasis!
Directly on the Camino Portuguese, and right next to the Cathedral! Beautiful place to spend the night! The flat is well furnished, and very comfortable! You also have access to a small terrace with beautiful views on Tui!
This is a 700 year old property with a fascinating history. it is still owned by a family who bought it many years ago and who have now converted it into an Albergue. It was a place of refuge for a day while exploring Tui.
Very clean and spacious property; attended to our needs even late at nite. Being outside of Tui, but right on the Camino, we would have appreciated a more exact location as far as the mileage from Tui’s town center.
The apartament was spacious, clean and located in the center of TUI. appreciated the self check in process and cleaning of the place.
Jesus was kind and happy to help!
