Excellent place to stay. Spotlessly clean. Dorm room has curtains on the beds. Good hot water, Kitchen complete - able to cook just about anything with the pots and pans and gear supplied. Nice new fridge, cooker and microwave.
Restaurants and cafes very close, supermarket 2 mins walk. I think we are on day 50 of Camino Francés and now Camino Portuguese headed South. This Albergue is top 3 so far for facilities I’d say. Staff were next level nice ! We added an extra night and had a zero day. Winning.

Very well situated on the camino route and only a couple of minutes walk to lots of restaurants and cafes. There is a nice kitchen where pilgrims can cook and hang out and it felt warm and secure. Very easy to have luggage dropped off and collected.

Not far from the camino route. Friendly and helpful staff- Herman. He gave us tips where to eat and get some groceries and coffee. Albergue is clean, quiet and equipped with microwave, fridge and kettle. Has laundry facility but even better is the laundromat from across the albergue- 1 euro dryer and clothes are dry in 10 minutes ( best tip from Herman ! ). Beds are comfortable as well.

The visitors center was a pleasant experience. We were given a map of the town and the top sites to see if you had the time. We walked through their main park and had hoped to walk to the beach that was one of their top attractions. Beautiful plants and birds nested in the marsh areas, and even though we didn't walk far enough to get to the beach we loved the nature that was there at the inlet.

The only thing that disappointed me in Redondela, was a nearby restaurant "Casa Chano Restaurante". My son and I were very hungry and we were hoping for a "Pilgrim Menu". We walked in this restaurant and we were bowled over by the impeccable service. The lady even brought us complimentary empanadas. It seemed that two of the waiters spoke English. I was going for a fish dish that was under 15 Euros and my son had calamari that was reasonable. Well, they were out of the fish, so I pointed to a meat item. The large portion for a group is 35 Euro. The waiter said that I could have an individual portion for 12.50 euro. I was fine with that. We each had a beer and a flan for a dessert. I wanted to pay the bill so I gave my credit card and I was so pleased with the service that I gave $15 American dollars for a tip. One of the waiters who spoke English ran my card and it was not until I got back to my room that I had noticed that the bill was for 58 Euros. I was charged 35 Euros for the meat dish. I was flabbergasted as we were on a limited budget. I really felt it was only one person there because everyone else was exceptional. However, it did leave a sour taste.

The layout was odd and I think with a little renovation/reallocation of resources this could be a better place to stay. Many guestrooms and one bathroom, no sink in the breakfast area etc.

The hosts were absolutely fantastic and the house has a lot of charm. The place is shiny and it is fully equipped with everything one could possibly need for a 1 day-3/4 weeks stay. Location is right at the heart of the historical centre. Host also shared useful tips to eat and drink nearby.
Realmente un gran recibimiento con gente encantadora. Compartieron vivencias y sitios con nosotros para ayudarnos en nuestro viaje. Esta en plano Camino de Santiago tambien. No encontraran una mota de polvo porque no la hay. Muy buena experiencia. Gracias!

The woman at the information bureau was excellent- nicest person we have met so far, very kind. Made phone calls to help us out because we can’t speak Spanish and she was happy to find out for us. Interesting town.
The owner was fantastic about communicating. I got to Redondela at 2300 and hadn't booked anything in the Pilgrim Route. She ensured that I was able to check-in after hours and communicated throughout the night and next morning. There is a free laundry and dryer and she has all the detergent and such as well. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen looked stocked but I didn't use it. The shower was large, and the towels were very nice. She provided helpful information for the pilgrimage as well.
Beautiful old restored Galician stone house. Wonderful and generous owner who couldn’t have been kinder. Great facilities for making a cup of tea or coffee. Right on the Camino path (also accessible by car). Food options totally fine despite distance from town. Peaceful and beautiful. Best place we have stayed on the Camino - would love to return .
Right on the Camino. It was a lovely old farmhouse made into a hostel. Located just outside Redondela, it was on a lovely large block with a garden.
The beds were good and the breakfast sufficient. Marcos and Tito, the hosts are very friendly and helpful.

very proactive host, and an excellent single room. The location is perfect. Easy to to get in and out. The hotel also features a laundry room, which cost €4 for a wash and €3 for drying. I also appreciated that I could help myself to coffee whenever I wanted to, as well as small snacks.
Lovely apartment close to old Town in Redondela. Everyone in group loved it Really comfortable beds . Unfortunately we didn't get to use garden due to terrible rain but it looked lovely.. We were a group of 4 walking Camino so only stayed 1 night but it would be perfect for longer.
A basic but good hotel with great views.
Although the restaurant only opened at 8:30 p.m. when we visited, good home cooking was served to us directly from the kitchen an hour beforehand. Thanks again for this exception, we were very hungry and the staff seemed to take pity on us.
Fabulous house, perfectly designed and decorated, very well equiped. Beautiful location, lovely views from the balcony. Very kind host, couldn't do enough, left lots of extras. Only a mile from Redondela centre. Very nice area. No hesitation recommending this house.
Angel and his wife Isabella were totally the best hosts! They treated us to homemade tortillas and local beers after a long trek from Vigo. Their friendliness and hospitality extended beyond our stay when the next morning he dropped us at our starting point again!
This is a wonderful hotel. The owners care deeply about their guests. From the clean rooms, great bed, and amazing personalized food prepared from their garden. The most revitalizing place I have ever stayed, both in body and spirit! I would highly recommend.
Very reasonable price, compared to the hotels we stayed in. More amenities too: washing machine, snacks, coffee maker and coffee, also olive oil and oregano — so we could make pasta sauce without having to make too many purchases.
Quaint and special hotel. Very picturesque in the countryside. We had dinner there and it was excellent and the chef and staff could not have been more helpful and catered to our every need. The room had heat and every comfort.
Was a little off the camino path for us but the hotel was awesome! staff helpful, friendly, food was great, room was clean (no AC but able to get cross breeze through the windows) - overall a great place to stay.
