I stayed in preferred club area with my partner for birthday holiday. We had the best experience and will be coming back for sure. Everything was great from the moment we were welcomed to the reception with warm hi and cooling towels, sparkling wine and help with suitcases to our last day. Especially thanks to lovely Jūratė and Micha (pronounced as Mika) Peter who work next to reception. Jurate is such great addition to this hotel and made my holiday very special by being warm and positive, cheerful, friendly. We absolutely loved our boat trip that the hotel has arranged to Papagayo beach, Las mujeheres beach, kayaking, paella cooked with seafood on the boat and all included drinks like mojito and dancing there. We managed to even see wild dolphins on this boat trip, who joined our boat and surprised us with their little show by jumping around and leading the way to Papagayo beach, it was incredible! We also loved the entertainment in a hotel, music, opera and funny performances even though maybe they were for kids. I can tell adults we’re loving it not any less than adults. I could not even expect it but entertainment night when playing poker left me with a prize of extra two nights at the hotel! Cannot wait to come back. Thank you so much for making our holiday so special, lots of lovely memories made. Thank you kindly Jurate for your part in it, we are very grateful! Also, we were happily surprised that their hotel was not crowded and somehow it felt very private, very spacious, great food and drinks, friendly staff, very helpful! We were not feeling too well one night and they helped by offering to bring dinner to our room, could not have been any better choice for holiday. Highly recommend

All inclusive is very good. Stayed 7 nights and we're very happy we chose this hotel. It was more than we expected, all the buildings and grounds were beautiful, the rooms spacious with massive beds. Food was very nice, didn't get sick of it despite eating there every day at least twice a day. A la carte restaurants are great too. All inclusive was extensive in its options, nearly everything was included. The two resident hedgehogs were very cute too. Cats and birds and tortoises and fish all to be found on the resort too!

Playa Blanca is the newest, and arguably quietest, large resort on Lanzarote, which makes it popular with families. It is partially sheltered from the Atlantic winds by the dormant Montaña Roja volcano, and volcanic rock lines its sandy beaches which are spread around a bay.
There are 3 main beaches: Playa Dorada which is popular for watersports, Playa Blanca – the most peaceful, and Playa Flamingo which is overlooked by shops, bars and restaurants serving locally caught seafood. Further east the long stretches of sand give way to the rocky Papagayo Coves whose beautiful scenery is depicted on many a postcard.
A promenade linking the 3 beaches is lined with luxury hotels and resorts available on Booking.com, many offering all inclusive options and some even have their own water park. There are also lots of cheap apartments and private villas in Playa Blanca, some of which overlook Marina Rubicon. The Castillo de las Colorados watchtower sits on a rugged piece of headland looking across the Atlantic Ocean towards the hilly terrain of Fuerteventura.
Ferries to this neighbouring Canary Island depart from just across the bay and offer beautiful views back across the whitewashed buildings towards the mountains behind Playa Blanca.

It depends what you're looking for, but Playa Blanca certainly wasn't what I wanted. I thought it quite downmarket and over-developed. There are a lot of themed bars (bikers, Irish etc.) but I didn't find any good restaurants. The beaches in the resort are tiny and lined with sunbeds, so it's worth the 6.5KM walk over to Playa del Papagayo in the nature reserve. If you stay in Playa Blanca, be sure to hire a car so you can visit the many interesting sights of Lanzarote.

We stayed a fair distance from the centre of Play Blanca and therefore did not go into the centre at night. The Marina area is full of restaurants for all tastes and budgets. There is "bar" entertainment in many of these restaurants and cocktail bars so it is a very lively place. The one thing I detest in restaurants is when the waiter points out that the cost of the meal "does not include tips". I would normally tip about 10% but leave nothing if a tip is asked for! Playa Blanca during the day is like most Spanish resorts with the usual tourist tat available to buy. I would be cautious however, in buying from some of the electrical and camera shops, having had a previous bad experience with one in particular.

Great place, long promenade along the coast.
Great place, long promenade along the coast. Montana Roja is a good walk/climb and great views. Good choice of restaurants in the main town. Bus to and from the airport (161) is cheap and frequent, takes about 1 hour. Bodega Colonial, pork cheek!!, Sergio Aubergine dish was lovely, great restaurants in PB central. Beaches are clean 😁
Beach was just down the road on the property. Really nice sandy beach and protected calm swim area. Lots of families. Lots of restaurants, supermarket and shops for any need. Prices for food, etc very reasonable. Location was excellent. Took bus 161 directly from airport for 3 Euros , then 3 Euro+ taxi just around corner from last stop, down the road
to hotel. No porters available in evening, so I had to drag my luggage to the room myself in the dark. . I requested the maintenance man to help me at noon when I left.
The hotel was very modern, clean and relaxing. I loved the idea of a family area and a relax zone which has 2 pools on each side, also an even younger kids pool.
The room was very spacious, was cleaned daily (or when needed) and included a mini fridge, safe and hairdryer.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
Location was very good, only around a 10 minute walk to the main strip in Playa Blanca. Also a grocery shop only 3 minute walk away.
The hotel was sustainable which I love.
The villa was very comfortable. Great beds and lots of amenities such as washing machine, air con, pool towels, some games, smart TV etc. It's located about 2 Kms from Playa Blanca, but a 2 min walk from a small stony beach with kayaking available. There is also a couple of shops and cafe bars located within 5-10 mins walk and also a bus stop into Playa Blanca in 10 mins. Plenty of carparking available in April. Eva our host was very attentive and quick to respond.
There are a lot of pools in the territory, attractions for children, gyms for adults, a supermarket, football court. The pool for children was heated. All in all good quality all-inclusive hotel (but it is possible to have a room without food which is also a good option as you can drive to Playa Blanca to dine in a huge variety of restaurants). Good location - you can go sightseeing in the north of the island on the same day as the island is not big by itself.
Amazing Apartment with nice kitchen. Everything we needed was there! Really simple interior and lots of space. The garden is breathtaking. Super location, near the beach and restaurants+bars. We also drove to station Las Coloradas and then went to Papagayo beach by foot.
Check in easy via Pin Code and keys.
Playa Blanca is really beautiful and we would absolutely recommend staying at Casa Real.
Thank you for everything!
A brilliant hotel. Facilities were superb and the hotel is so well set up for families between the pools, the entertainment (both day and evening) and the staff (amazing with the kids). Rooms were spacious, breakfast was great, and the location is superb for exploring both Playa Blanca and Port Rubicon (both about a 10 min walk). There is a great beach also directly outside of the hotel. Would absolutely recommend.
Good location, near beautiful Papagayo beach. The food for breakfast and dinner is very solid, tasteful and we were satisfied with the variety. Pool is nice. And stuff friendly. Playa Blanca is excellent location for trips to El Golfo, Timanfaya national park, El Geria vineyards… We enjoyed it. One of the highlights was visit of Famara which is adventurous place. ;)
Cala Suites is a wonderful, quiet, middle-sized adults-only hotel. It’s well located, near the Playa Blanca marina, with a fantastic view to the sea from all rooms and to Fuerteventura. The swimming pool, rooms, breakfast, pool bar are all very high quality. The staff are charming, efficient and very helpful.
Amazing hotel. Would love to return if we come back to Lanzarote. Super relaxing with lots of sunbathing and pool options. Felt very high end. Breakfast buffet was great. In the marina area of playa blanca which is more quiet than the more resorty main area. Which is about a 20 min walk away.
Staff are really attentive and the hotel is very modern and nicely decorated. Really chilled out relaxing hotel. Location based in the heart of the marina, 15 min walk to the beach/20 mins to playa blanca coastal walk. Breakfast was good, not much of a selection of cereals.
I had a very nice stay at the hotel. Very comfortable rooms, great breakfast selection and ample free parking space in garage and street. Short walk to Shopping Centre and Marina Restaurants. Staff were very helpful. Entire resort is very clean, including room.
Was great location for us was quiet but not to far from everything. Only 10mins walk into playa blanca. Plenty of parking roundabout hotel. Lovely views from balcony. Nice restaurants nearby and supermarkets. All-round a great location and hotel.
The hotel is lovely, so clean rooms good. Mattress was so so comfy and the bed huge !!! Staff were all so lovely. Location, perfect only 5 min walk to a Strawberry Daquiri!!
This was meant to be a pit stop but il be back !!!
Very large outdoor area with a pool overlooking playa blanca. Very quiet and relaxing perfect for couples. Would recommend a hire car to get the most out of staying in the villa ie. to access the marina easily.
