The roof terrace was amazing, a perfect place to end my Camino. The personnel was nothing short of amazing, helped with every question, ensured an easy check in and made my stay a great experience. Breakfast was wonderful as well! Will for sure come again!

Modern clean rooms in this guesthouse a minute or 2 walk from the seafront, they don't have any staff at the reception here so we had to check in at their sister property about 1 minute walk away. Rooms were nice, there is a lift, the bathroom was good. A good location for a night in Muxia.

Great location, just off the centre, by the sea, quiet and beautiful. My room was on the first floor with a spectacular view on the beach and the sea. There was plenty of space and light. Very comfortable bed. The lady at the reception was super nice and kind, special thanks to her!

LOVED the property, beautiful waterfront views , soo comfortable . Hosts helpful and generous , left tea , coffee , jams , bread biscuits etc . Would highly recommend, one of our favourite Camino accommodations.
I always come with happiness to Muxia. I choose all the time Bella Muxia for the reason of the welcoming hospitalieros and also the Special Albergue and Hostel facilities that I could find from 2017, when I came first time. This is my second time in 2023 staying , both in common albergue and one guest room too in my holiday.
Everything was perfect in both cases.
I recomend Bella Muxia.

We walked from Lires to Muxia which was approximately 16kms. Lires to Muxia is an easier walk than Muxia to Lires. The last 5kms into Muxia is downhill with about 2kms on bitumen.
The walk to the Sanctuary was worth it passing by the disused Condor Eel drying site. The Artisan Lacemakers have a hut on the top working on lace while you watch. Lace is for sale from this shed. Didn’t see any other outlet in the town itself.
Views from the top are spectacular and worth the walk.

Muxia is a lovely place with a really special atmosphere, to my mind it’s a better place to stay and for finishing a Camino than Finisterre. There’s not a great deal to do, exploring the whole town takes about an hour. There are some very pretty old buildings and the landscape and sea by the lighthouse are spectacular. There are plenty of bars and restaurants offering very fresh seafood at reasonable prices, if you fancy a swim the beach is safe, clean and pleasant. Bus links are good. I’ve been three times and like it more each time, it is a nice place just to be.

Muxia is a beautiful little coastal port/village, it is the final finishing point for the Camino so there are is no shortage of people arriving and leaving. It is also popular at the weekends and fiestas with locals who travel from all over to have lunch. So if you are thinking of eating at Lonxa d Alvaro (which is excellent) make sure you book as a table there is very sought after. There are lots of other amazing options for dinning and its easy to spend the days just eating.

Muxia is a wild and rocky coastal town with two light houses visible. and a beautiful church site 1/2 mile from town. We wandered there every evening, it’s especially beautiful at sunset. We walked to a few Sandy beaches, but because of 25 mile an hour wind gusts the entire time of our stay, we did not enjoy the beaches as we had hoped. We found all of the towns people very warm, welcoming and accommodating, and seafood was the very best we’ve had while in Spain!

If you want peace and quiet and idyllic beaches and friendly people, this will suit you. I was actually in Merexo, but went to Muxia for an afternoon. It is full of bars and restaurants, but it is a little town. There is a port and a few little streets to wander along. Not loud and touristy. Lovely.
Honestly, after walking from Fisterra to Muxia it was the best place to be! The beds have curtains, so you have privacy in your bunk bed. The showers are big and spacious, and our room had their own bathroom, so it was amazing. Each bed has its own storage space, and an extra blanket and towel if needed. I stayed in many places on my trip to Santiago, but this definitely makes the top 3, probably even taking the #1 spot. The owner messaged me before, so the check in process was super easy, which I was super thankful for! Thank you!
I’ve been traveling through Portugal and Spain for a month and I’m still surprised that folks don’t typically have/use window screens to keep bugs out… this host had a screen for the door to the balcony, so I thought that was a nice touch.
It was bright and modern (and not cluttered), and comfortable at the same time.
The location is a beautiful, quiet, rural area… with a lovely vantage point for sunsets!
It was awesome. Nice room with a terrace that opened up right onto the sidewalk across from the playa and the cruz (thus the name). Had a kitchen so having the supermercado three blocks away meant we had three meals on our terrace for the price of one meal at the local restaurants. A relaxing end to walking 800 Km of Camino de Santiago across Spain to the Atlantic Ocean.
The location is central, close to bus and tourist activities. The hotel is a very charming old building, we loved it. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant and it was fabulous! The staff are lovely people! They are super kind and endearing! We have a delightful breakfast this morning and that too was outstanding! So glad we stayed here. Truly a highlight of our trip.
from the moment that I walked into this hotel I knew I was welcome and that I would have a positive experience. The owner was on reception that morning and that spoke volumes to me. I got an early check in, was given a room with a view from paradise. The other receptionist (Riain) was so friendly and welcoming. I loved this hotel
Staff helped me with bus reservation. They also gave me the pilgrim certificate for Muxia, a map with how to get to different places in town. They also have towels, curtains beside the beds, modern and clean showers and bathrooms. Also, a small kitchen for cooking, fridge, microwave and so on. I strongly recommend.
The house is gorgeous, newly and beautifully decorated . Comfortable beds and super clean. Quiet location 10 min from Muxia. Mari, the host, is very helpful and friendly. Nice terrace and garden to watch sunset over the eucaliptus forest. Two communicated double rooms extremely convenient for family of 4.
Very nice hosts. The room was clean and comfortable. A bit older building and interior but nice to stay. If you want you can have diner and breakfast. They will prepare with a lot of care.
2 km from Lires and on the way between Lires-Muxia. Nice area.
You can buy water bottles for your camino.
Muxia was great. This apt. Was superb. Easy pre-regisyration on line gave all door codes via WhatsApp. Apt. Had everything we needed. Full Kitchen and amenities, even a washing machine in the apt., great view of the harbor, comfortable beds with plenty of outlets, shelves and lighting.
Beautifully maintained historic property. All amenities were top notch, Jacuzzi, spectacular bedding, delicious welcome chocolates. Great chef. Best food I have had in hotel restaurant on the camino. They provided transportation from and back to Olveiroa!
We stayed in the barn - a beautiful space and perfect for a couple! A very warm welcome, great breakfasts and idyllic spot in the countryside. The coast walks north from Muxia and Camarinas (Cabo Vilan circular route) are spectacular
Location closed to the "Camino path" , in the center of the city and not far from the cathedral placed in front of the ocean.
The staff were very gentle and available helping me for some needs.
It was a good hotel experience
Great place to stay after finishing The Camino in Muxia, right in the heart of town, staff was super friendly and helpful, room was comfortable, even had a small ocean view sitting in bed, room 12.
